What have you done to your MSP today?

didn't do anything to it since Im in Iraq but I am talking to a very reputable shop that is storing my car for me about tearing my motor down and prepping for the build once I start ordering the parts...another insane build is in the making

think ill give mine a good wash today as the weather is nice. and possibly take some pics. havent done a cruise/shoot since i put the white rhs on.

last few days though ive been head deep researching electric car conversions over at diyelectriccar. some insane builds but the cost of doing a conversion that would give me 100km daily range and have the same or more pep as the msp is a lot less than it was a few years ago.

i know im gonna have to spend 10+ k on the msp over a period as s*** starts breaking and the modding itch gets bigger and bigger but might just fix what needs fixing, put an exhaust on it and call it done.

pick up another 3rd gen and do an ev. of course, electricity here in bc is kinda **** cause we keep selling it to you guys ;P you californians pay less for our electricity than we do lol.
still. i can just sense ill be paying $2.50/liter for 91 in a few years... even $1/kwh would be damn good.

Fixed my exhaust leak and put on a adjustable WGA so I can lower the boost compared to the ATP one(was running 9/10lbs) and not im runnign 5ish.... it feels so sloow now. lol

looking for an afc 1 or 2 if anyone is parting one out. pref a version one cause im poor.

I don't have the cash right now, but I'm saving for one. Is it a sprint 500? And are you talking about the haltech harness or an ecu extension harness?

finally got to installing the passenger side mount and it's not even close to fitting... I somehow need to shift the blockover (towards the mount) a good quarter of an inch. Any ideas? BFH isn't an option on this one.

My passenger mount wasn't exactly a perfect fit either, but now that I have the rear and trans mount installed, it looks like it fits better. So I would try possibly loosening the trans mount a little bit and maybe you can reach a middle ground.

just the bolt through the mount or the mounts themselves?

just the bolt through the mount or the mounts themselves?

It was one or the other. If I had the bolt through the mount on first, it wouldn't reach the block and if I mounted the bottom bolts first I couldn't get the one through straight.

I got it, loosend the bolts through the other mounts then I put the bolt through the mount and tightend down on the fender and the two on the block till I could put the bolts to the frame on. Then tighted everything down and the bolts through all the mounts. Not sure if that's how it's supposed to be done but it worked

Done for the night, back at it again in the morning. Have a week left to get everything done.
