What have you done to your MSP today?

ok cool

also would there be any harm in running a fsde with a non forged crank? like if i were to swap one in from a late model 626 motor. i wanna change the motor out and rebuild mine forged.

Why not just take that one and rebuild it since it's out already?

Cause I'm already driving on a slowly dying motor. The piston rings leak and I can't afford to go forged right now. I can pick up a motor from our local pull a part for about$150 and replace a couple of the major components(means etc) for about $150.

any tricks I should know about when taking off the stock cold pipe at the throtle body? sucker just won't budge

went at it from a underneath to start with and it came out, loosen the clamp is a given (for me atleast)

Got the coolant draining and working one the harness ext for the ECU now, Need to wire that up

Dropped 440cc injectors in the MSP last night, in the process of fine tuning the SSAFC... still a bit rich up top

pulled the radiator, the more I do the less I know.

Need to replace clutch line but I think I will put it off until Saturday and just wash it instead and take pics of the new window tint.
Also got a new mazdaspeed badge in the mail and I need to decide how I want to paint it.

Finally installed the coldpipe from my turbohoses hardpipe kit...almost two years after buying it

^car finally looks normal, it was weird having the hotpipe installed but still had a plastic coldpipe lol

Got my new water neck in today and the 3 way hose. Installed it all, bled the coolant, changed the oil. Cleaned up the engine bay a little. Took it on a nice scenic, backroads drive.
Everythings doing great for now. But alas, it is an MSP, something else will go wrong soon enough. :)

Took a short video on my phone of a little spirited romp through a backwoods highway. Will post soon.
