What have you done to your MSP today?

if you just hone it no, but why would you do that? if the walls aren't scratched then leave it alone. If they are, bore it and get new pistons.

should i just get the ARP studs for the head? dont really want to go through stock bolts breaking again because torque wrench i had was tested and is fine.
They were brand new headbolts correct?

and yes ARP is the way to go, much easier to work with (torque-wise)
edit: just saw you said they were new, so ignore that part lol

something here is wrong.... 13-16 lbs won't break the shittiest rusted M6 bolt... let alone a head stud.
actually...it will lol i tested it a while back, it broke the head right off, and it was a pretty new bolt

Let the mods continue

So I got my Mica Black 08 MS3's windows tinted earlier this week. 20% all round. Looks wicked. Then I installed a Sure Sidewinder Turbo inlet, already have the MS CAI. Also threw on a Forge BPV, Sure RMM and Sure Shifter Spacers. Dropped off my stock alloy rims at the paint shop to have the powder coated gloss black. Lastly I ordered a JBR short shift plate. I will post some pics next week with the new rims and tires. (yippy)

hey... a fellow wisconsinite! Unfortionately... you're in the wrong section... you're looking for the MS3 section. While you're poking around though, stop in the WI section too!

was walking around the car to grab more tools and knocked my drivers side mirror clean off..... more stuff to fix

oof! Poor MSP!

Mine, I looked at this morning and thought "holy cow she's a dirty girl!" Maybe will have time to give her a bath when I get home from work.

ok got the bolts to cooperate this time, so heads installed, cam and brackets properly bolted down, intake mani fuel rail on, exhaust manifold and coolant lines on. Timing belt, throttle body and egr pipe are left. (i need to i guess bend or make a new egr pipe, the one that came with the 626 mani is too long and the one off the old manifold is too short). also re-jbwelded the mirror back on.

un-installed the narrow band and boost gauge

i broke my driver side one off washing my car one time. it sucked

also i have a leak. 2 actually

the first one is my trunk. the little area where the jack is and the opposite side pocket. and in the spare tire well.

the second started out as under the passenger seat was wet and the back pass side floor board. that was all now my front pass floor board is wet.

any ideas?

drain it. go outside and spray your car with the hose. then see if you can see any drips or runs. that should be the easiest in the trunk.

my trunk leaked at the vent on the drivers side behind the trunk. while driving the water would spray up and go inside. some silicone and you will have a dry trunk
