o2 simulator on the way, getting ready to deploy to Iraq soon for the second time. Be prepared, built motor, GT3071R, Haltech EMS, MFactory LSD, bigger injectors, may even order the bearing reinforcement cups from PAR. Finally, after all of that, a few months later, Fiber Images Evo style carbon fiber hood, Isport CF roof cap, and a carbon fiber trunk will be going on along with a set of Volk TE37s. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!

Sam still has it on his site and there was a recent discussion about it and nothing was said about it going out of production so hopefully it is still made. If it isn't, Ill just pick another hood

Got a quick question. Put in an HID kit a couple years ago, now the pass light flickers when I turn them on, driver side is fine. I played with one of the contacts and cleaned it up, but again, only flickering, it doesn't stay on.

I'm thinking the ballast is dead, that sound right?

ballast or igniter is very likely bad. if its been going for a couple years, depending on the kit, its about time.

Your lucky lol. I only got 1 year out of mine. Replaces bulbs once. Installed relay and niw gonna be on secobd set of ballasts. Might wire the headlights into a carnetix....

I got 5 years out of my Philips HID kit, and had to turf it about a month ago. I miss the extra light and might get another HID kit or maybe a fog light kit off a P5.

I think I've had my ebay bulbs and replacement ballasts going for roughly a year and a half or so. Bought the kit used and basically replaced it piece by piece as everything gave out. lol

MSP has been decommissioned today =[ pulled injectors to send out to be cleaned and hopefully FINALLY curing my goddamn P0172 code!!!

MSP is still down... I have a huge vacuum leak somewhere and it's so bad I can't even limp the car into my garage so it's on the street. That and the fact that it's pitch black by the time I get off work is not helping me. Sounds like a recipe for instant piss-me-off.

Seems like it's a bad time for the Mazdaspeeds, in addition to the key marks on the fender which should get fixed sometime soon my car threw a CEL. It has a random flat spot sometimes under boost which I assumed was the combination of a bad WGA and stock tune but now that i replaced the WGA and several other parts it still has it. Probably just needs an SSAFC.

when my new kit comes, ill have a spare set of h4 bulbs if anyone wants a cheap set. I could keep them for backup spares, but really wanna get my p5 lights cleaned up and installed sometime. too many projects on the go.

Black P5 lights FTMFW. I want a set with projectors, very similar to xDJdubx's setup on his Protege.

i like the projectors but ill save my money unless i wanna make some custom inserts. to me, it looks like modded headlights. would almost prefer those cheap ebay ones everyone seems to get. at least they look made that way.
sadly, with baby and non working wife my automotive ambitions are neutered... must buy summer tires this year, and if i can scrimp and save enough after that, need to replace my cracked manifold and get arp manifold studs so i wont keep losing them.. bank 1 is missing the two passenger side bolts so im sure im leaking pretty bad.

oh, and have to put cash toward fixing my hood... not gonna be expensive but sure is a time piss off cause ill have to pull the underhood cover, pound dent, fill, sand paint. not hard, but will take a weekend fosho.

and i should really buy my friends exhaust before he gets fed up and never talks to me again..

so.. no money for projectors lol.

i totally agree here, i like the light output of projectors, but just sitting them in the headlight and not making a cover or something so they flow, looks retarded

and fyi...we only have one bank lol
