What have you done to your MSP today?

Haha, I'm poor enough as it is and can't afford to miss work. Though we definitely need a photoshoot sometime soon. Just don't snap any pics of my engine bay, it's a warzone in there.

Last November a little over 1/2 through the month it happened. But It started! Now I'm just stuck on the oil leak. The restrictor of the turbo was leaking really slowly (drip every 30 seconds when running) and when we tightened it it striped. So I gotta order a new oil restrictor ASAP.

well, started my spring swap yesterday. rears were pretty easy once i figured out the brakes needed removing and i have custom endlinks... fronts however.... needed a lot more persuasion..

the endlink bolts are totally seized and i either round of nuts, or cant get them to turn at all. so had to spend a buttload of time on them with a dremel cutting them out. only finished one so today is the other one.

kinda worried cause the endlinks i made were 13 5/8 or somthing to center, as was listed in the custom endlink thread but the stock ones are considerably smaller than that.
im thinking than when i lower the car i can install them and the bar will be parallel to the ground, but when they raise it to align the car, might get caught up. so might leave them out until i figure that out.

any suggestions for how to afix the bar so it doesnt hit anythingfor a day or so?

well i had to lower the car onto blocks to get the endlinks installed. they could do to be a bit longer even but when you jack her up, the bar gets pressed against the control arms. ill have to get under it when the alignment is done and adjust the length myself. not as easy as the rears but at least when i replace all 4 struts it will be much easier.

all 4 are blown lol... guess i shouldn't be surprised at 110k

mine were all blown when i put those exact sportlines in lol,

speaking of blown, i blew my head gasket yesterday. compression goes like this:

cyl
1-130
2-90
3-90
4-150
i was told it should be around 180psi all the way across? me and justanothermsp and scratchandsniff will be changeing it this upcoming saturday, the arp head studs i acquired a while back will be going in. and should i replace the cam seals and bearings? i assumed cam seals but i didnt know about the bearings

and i also got my hks flange in

the ride is a lot nicer with the sportlines. bumps don't suck as much and the car is a lot more planted in corners. the drop is pretty nice on my 15's too lol. clunk in the font is gone with custom endlinks =D

though when i was driving around, one of the clamps on my coldpipe poped. gotta get on welding the bends asap.

If you are talking about the front wheel bearings there are enclosed (the races are not shown)

rally, he's talking about something else.

Sc-your brother is wrong. there are no bearings on the camshafts. they just lay in place with the cam caps torqued down correctly.

Try some Hairspray...I have a few worm clamps still holding 25psi from a gt30 without beads. Just spray it on the pipe and tighten and most likely you will never have to do it again. The hairspray will make it tacky nearly forever unless you get oil on.
