What have you done to your MSP today?

Pyt my thermostat spacer in! Will post pics later! (if you have my Facebook pics will be on there like.... Now) but I ran into a snag. Hot pipe doesn't fit. So ordering a coupler and bolts to extend it only 1/2 a inch haha. And the effin 3" tbolts don't fit on my 3" couplers for my intake! But pics of that installed later. s*** looks cash.

Yea mine is cutting out at 2500 rpms and again at 3500, but if I shift up it will stop and sometimes its hard to start....mainly after it hasn't ran for a lil bit. Took it to mazda before I had codes and they changed the intercooler pipe...cost me $450 bucks and didnt do a D@mn thing!! If anything, it seemed worse!!! (they were just guessing, supposedly the pipe was split but who knows?!?!?!?) I also changed the spark plugs, wires, and coils. Wish I would have had the codes then! lol I have read on the internet about the codes and the best thing I have come up with is the sensor(s). Do you think it could be the injector?? Some people I know have said that, but I dont know alot about cars. Wish I had the $ to get it back into the shop, but they are OUTRAGEOUS!!!!
Thanks for your help and input. :)
Check the plugs on the passenger side right at the front of the valve cover, one is for the Cam position sensor and the other is the crank position sensor. If the sensor is bad it must be replaced of course, but my car was having issues cutting out and once wouldn't start and it was just the plug that came loose for the CKP sensor (crank).

It isn't always a bad sensor, sometimes the sensor is dirty and sometimes the connector can come loose, that was the case on my car. If it does need to be replaced it isn't hard but you have to pull two of the timing cover bolts out to replace the crank position sensor. Cam position sensor is right on the valve cover. Both were dirty on my car and it can't hurt to clean them off.

Ok maybe I should take a pic of that area to make sure I am looking at the right one. lol I am a blonde hehehe

I got full spark on mine today!! But it still wouldn't fire up :( this has really been making me miss my Cummins.

Put the exhaust all together, put the EGR Pipe on. Did some other random stuff. ANd pushed it out of the garage to get a snowmobile out that we are selling. It needs to be washed badly :( haha

But Just waiting on 7 TBolts and 1 Coupler. and I also gotta figure out the size of my coolant return line to go and buy it. Its almost there! So close.

Motor looks good outlawstar

what Did I do today, found another freaking coolant leak!! After replacing the water return elbow twice already and just recently replacing the water pump, timing belt, Tstat, radiator cap and finally the radiator since it recently started leaking... and now the water return elbow is leaking again. The cooling system on this car is becoming a huge headache.

On the up side, getting ready to start gathering parts for a build

you should look into the throttle body bypass that the regular pro boys use for there coolant feed/return lines. i plan to do that later down the road.

i ordered a flange for the hks bov i recently acquired ;)

got my eibach sportlines and adjustable front end links in the mail last night. though wont be putting it in for a couple weeks as i scored like 10 peices of 2.25" intercooler piping for a good price. was actually looking on ebay to possibly get a cxfmic but $73 shipping... sheesh... still, if i get that and these pipes $180 fmic =)

probably just gonna fab custom harpipes for the stocker out of these, and get a full 2.5" kit later on. unless somone has a smokin deal on an intercooler ;)

but pretty excited about the sportlines!

Had the Ksports on for 2 weeks and had to take them off because my gf and kids couldn't handle the stiff ride. So I spent 2 hours changing them out for the stock on Sunday. I think I know my car like the back of my hand for the most part. It sucks because they really randled great (needing new shocks even). The car drove like a go-kart. No body roll just turn when you want to. I don't know if I want to keep them for later and replace the shock when it is just a weekend car or sell them as is?

I did that the other day, it's simple just hook up the top line from the block back into the coolant elbow and run the line from the bottom of the TB back to the top of the TB.

just scour the internetz for the complete FMIC kit. i got mine from ebay from a member "cxlighting" but when the package arrived the cardboard itself said cxracing!

anyway, whole kit: core, pipes, couplers, clamps, BOV, and bov flange welded on the pipe, everything for like $210 (because i bought 2 extra 45 degree couplers) but ebay refunded me 30 bucks because of their credit thing. and i had an extra pipe afterwards to make my SRI and get rid of my Injen.
