What have you done to your MSP today?

What have I done to the MSP today? Apparently ****** it up just a little bit more. Kind of my fault, and kind of just...bad luck I guess. Was trying to have a little fun so I got on it in 2nd gear, shifted to 3rd, and just before I went to 4th the engine torqued like a mofo and the entire car jerked for a split second...then continued on. Naturally it scared the piss out of me. My first thought was fuel cut. I have had this issue before, but it was never this severe. So I continued down the road about a mile and noticed my boost gauge was not working, as well as my BOV. I pulled over into the local Walmart parking lot and popped the hood. Due to my well placed vacuum block (drilled into the sway bar) that I would like everyone to know was not my idea...the valve cover punctured 2 vacuum lines. I drove it back home and my dad helped me patch it up until I go to the local performance shop tomorrow. Oh yea and the oil cap was not tightened fully after my friend did an oil change Wednesday. Thankfully none spilled out.

So I would like to know what is going on with my car.

Fuel cut?
Broken motor mount?
Bad WGA?

thoughts please.

if the WGA wasn't getting boost, you overboosted... and hit fuel cut... and didn't see that you were overboosting due to the boost gauge's line being cut as well.

Just ordered a "new" mani, silicone vacuum lines, corksport exhaust hangars, and 1.8L coil. Hopefully a FMIC to be ordered in a few days.

So winter came a little early in Maryland... Poor Buzzy had never seen snow before, as it spent its entire life in Texas. It was less than amusing, especially with the tires that were on the car:

So I bought some new ones, and took the RH's off, cleaned them up for storage:

And winterized the car with rubber floor mats and snow tires/wheels (Dunlop SP Winter Sport M3 215/45/17 on Elbrus I05's 17x7.5 +45mm):

What do you think?

off his old sp20 conversion no doubt...

Good call Wagon! Yeah, its the original bumper off my old 2000 Pro. Been meaning to get rid of it/sell it, just been too lazy to do so. The RH's cleaned up real nice though. I should probably get them refinished for the spring if I end up finishing the mods to my car at the same time...

those wheels don't look half bad.

Thanks man, for winter wheels that I only have to live with for 3-4 months, its better than steelies I guess (not that steelies are bad) Forgot to tell you, but I was in Mechanicsburg last night/today. LOL

So the Illuminas & endlinks got installed over the weekend. Just ordered camber kits at rock-auto also. Waiting to hear back from Jeff @ tri-point to order new brake pads too. :)

Also, I have gotten my last couple alignments done at tire discounters and have been marginally pleased with them, but where do you all get your alignments done at? Any preferences?
