What have you done to your MSP today?

For those of you who have replaced the front sway bar bushings on the car, I have some questions:

First, is it absolutely necessary to remove the front crossmember to get to the bushings?
Second, has anyone tried putting greasable bushings up there?
Third, do they MAKE greasable bushings for our front sway bar?
If I keep it greased, will that help eliminate the perpetual clunking which is inevitably going to occur over time?​

I don't think any are made specifically for Mazda, but I'm sure you could find one that works.

Yes, to an extent. And until your endlinks wear out, then those will clunk too.
 
Okay, so If I find a generic 25mm sway bar bushing that will fit in the bracket (energy suspension makes a cheap 25mm greasable one from AutoZone), tap the bracket and put a Zerk fitting in there... BOOM, greasable bushing set...
 
yeah I'll let you know if it works. Zerk fittings are damn cheap and if you get a 90 degree one, it might make access pretty easy...

Still need to get new coilpacks, lol
 
I've never had a problem with my fronts. Once with my rears but I used some oil grease on them and no problems yet. Even though she's been dead for the better part of a year. My point is still valid
 
i'm seriously considering giving an instigating drama, or post whoring infraction next time I see this wingless bulls*** flare up. I'm seriously tired of the pointless posts about it. everybody already knows how everybody feels on the topic. theres no point to prove... let it go already. If you wanna discuss it that bad... Dude, you seriously need to chill out. You're the only one taking it, in ANY SENSE OF THE WORD, seriously. Get a freakin sense of humor, or is a lack of one what got you a damn mod position in the first place? Its people like you who make forums like this fairly miserable cause you can't let people have fun. I honestly can't tell if its no sense of sarcasm/humor, or if you're so insecure that you consider a fun banter a personal attack.

Its a fun running joke that everyone else, except you, seem to get... (strike)
