I'd love to say joe has my back, but really he's just enjoying busting your chops..
sadly, he has a point.
pushing doesn't count. we're talking about under its own power here.
Top Notch parts are expensive but time is your best friend. Rather to wait a longer time and save and than buying the middle shelf part and waste double later.. just my .02
said by the guy building his MSP for the 2nd time. I'm kidding... i just find this statement ironic.
no problem. Im redoing my engine again not because it was done wrong or blew my engine, is just that im heading to an upper stage where i need upgrade to better what i already have. Im planning on running more boost and try to or atleast be near the my goal which you already know. I dont want to sound here like im showing off you know just sharing thoughts, experiences and ideas with you guys..
for sure... gotta have respect for having (arguably) the most powerful MSP known, and not being satisfied with it. haha
I appreciate it... we're both just somewhat confrontational, so, its bound to happen.I would like to apologize with you for some earlier posts and PM's we've sent to each other in the past. They simply don't show the way i'am. I'm a very humble person and a very good friend of my friends !!!
it's got the biggest numbers I've heard... theres a few with 400 but I don't remember any with 515.
I mean there is so much you can do to these cars to make them better is not even funny, so many people just don't believe and talk bad about these cars they just don't know how they can turn out be. you just need the right parts, right tune and right place with right knowledge to make your MSP a true Street Terror Machine !!!
See, most people I talked to and researched said 160ish was about the standard for 03.5s from the factory. Opening the exhaust does a lot for these cars, which is how I came up with my estimate of around 180. Maybe its closer to 170, who knows.
Does anyone know the exact gains of the CustomMSP SMIC on a stock car? Dino has a dyno graph on his site claiming 20whp and the original reading was at 166whp (i think), which would agree with a stock car, or at least an intake. I really want to get that IC...
No answer on the tune question yet. I need convincing that its necessary for a daily driver

most of us can't afford/refuse to sacrifice to the level/would rather just BUY a faster car than put the time, money, and energy into a build of that level. For the money you've got into your MSP, I would own a nice winter 4x4, a good, decently quick, tastefully modded sports sedan/coupe, and probably a decent sport bike. (maybe a quad, a couple wave runners, and some other fun s*** too)... its impressive dedication to the platform, but there aren't many people that are gonna go that far.
