What have you done to your MSP today?

Hell nah! 130@ the crank stock, about 105@ the wheels with a MT but I have the CS exhaust, Injen intake & under drive pully. I gotta have at least 102 or something. lol.

I went from Arias Pistons to Wossner Hi performance.. From 8.5:1 Compression to 8.0:1 Compression to boost higher.. no dount Arias are the best and Pauter simply has no competition I think when you are forging your engine you cant go wrong or cheap because it can get more expensive at the end when youll need to redo your engine for not buying top notch toys.

Top Notch parts are expensive but time is your best friend. Rather to wait a longer time and save than buying right of way the middle shelf parts and spend double later.. just my .02

yeah I understand that completely TRUST ME. But I have no intent of going over 400 HP, or 20 PSI, and I've heard of no problems with K1 rods at that high of numbers.

said by the guy building his MSP for the 2nd time. I'm kidding... i just find this statement ironic.

no problem. Im redoing my engine again not because it was done wrong or blew my engine, is just that im heading to an upper stage where i need upgrade to better what i already have. Im planning on running more boost and try to or atleast be near the my goal which you already know. I dont want to sound here like im showing off you know just sharing thoughts, experiences and ideas with you guys..

for sure... gotta have respect for having (arguably) the most powerful MSP known, and not being satisfied with it. haha

it's got the biggest numbers I've heard... theres a few with 400 but I don't remember any with 515.

I would like to apologize with you for some earlier posts and PM's we've sent to each other in the past. They simply don't show the way i'am. I'm a very humble person and a very good friend of my friends !!!

btw arguably ????? lol lol... I believe Cwill had the most HP on a FS Engine street legal and in a DD form. 405whp if i remember corrently..

I appreciate it... we're both just somewhat confrontational, so, its bound to happen.

Ask SAM.S.P. He used to have quite a quick little MSP (he kept spinning bearings though). Then it burnt down. His car was balls quick though. I think he was in the 400 range.

I mean there is so much you can do to these cars to make them better is not even funny, so many people just don't believe and talk bad about these cars they just don't know how they can turn out be. you just need the right parts, right tune and right place with right knowledge to make your MSP a true Street Terror Machine !!!

most of us can't afford/refuse to sacrifice to the level/would rather just BUY a faster car than put the time, money, and energy into a build of that level. For the money you've got into your MSP, I would own a nice winter 4x4, a good, decently quick, tastefully modded sports sedan/coupe, and probably a decent sport bike. (maybe a quad, a couple wave runners, and some other fun s*** too)... its impressive dedication to the platform, but there aren't many people that are gonna go that far.

it is possible if you have the dedication and resources... most of us dont, and most of the people that talk trash on these cars dont care to research or listen to members that have...

Stock Dyno Thread

I see numbers from 134 (boost problems) to 160ish... on page 1...

See, most people I talked to and researched said 160ish was about the standard for 03.5s from the factory. Opening the exhaust does a lot for these cars, which is how I came up with my estimate of around 180. Maybe its closer to 170, who knows.

Does anyone know the exact gains of the CustomMSP SMIC on a stock car? Dino has a dyno graph on his site claiming 20whp and the original reading was at 166whp (i think), which would agree with a stock car, or at least an intake. I really want to get that IC...

No answer on the tune question yet. I need convincing that its necessary for a daily driver

a tune will help you run better, bet better mileage, and make more power... run it long enough and it will pay for itself in gas.
what else do you need to hear?

Get a fmic!

Oh absolutely agree with ya. When i first started i wanted to have a different car done by me, well you know what i mean i'm not a mechanic but i chose what i wanted to have done. I know that for the money i have invested in my car i could of have bought some other cars, bikes etc.. but where is the fun of having an EVO or an STI with already 300, 400, 500 HP, you really don't make history by just being another guy with a fast or custom EVO or STI, but i really do think you can make history by being different and owning something barely to none people have.

I mean with the amount of money i paid for my speed and the money i have invested in it, probably i couldn't bought another faster and expensive car but I love my MSP and feels good atleast in here in SPAIN to be the only one with it besides what's already done to it..
