Sounds like a rod bearing....if your lucky and it just happened you can change the rod bearings. If you are still driving it and reving it you can kiss your crank good bye and if it locks up on you the rod and block will be going with it

help me, what the hell is this noise, is my motor on its way out?
Not sure but maybe the VTCS or VICS screw fell in and is rattling around in the engine?
new ? work for upstream on the msp?
what you want for it?
how much will the rod bearings set me back? im honestly thinking just blow it up and forge a new one haha
you're better off jsut tearing it down then...why blow it up? If you do that you might need a whole new block...

Why blow it up though your block is still in good shape and you run the risk of hurting your head and turbo. Park the car. Rod bearings will set you back around $70 I think. I help velocifero do his and it can be knocked out in a good full days time the hardest part is drilling the access holes in the trans to get the upper oil pan off. From there you can see if the crank has any damage.
nice catch!Sig mod list has a 626 mani in it so no vtcs or vics screws to suck down
hmmmm you sure the rear is on S-Techs too? That looks like stock height and is different than s-tech drops on other MSPs...somethings up...
or as Shadow102 and I were discussing...perhaps you've got P5 S-techs on there....
