What have you done to your MSP today?

Who here thinks that I can fit a 225/45/17 on the stock rims and not rub with a tien dop(ranked stance... i think they are s-techs but not sure)?

I'd guess you'll be alright. My worry would be the rear wheel wells with the drop but since it's a raked drop you might be gravy.

got my kicker 5x7's in today. however we went to remove the headunit to see what we're dealing with....and we can't get the mother f'er out! we tried using the din removal tools, then later tonight i got my friend to try his switch blade and it just won't come out. the left side gets a little loose, but the right side (as my dad said) "is tighter than a frog's ass".

You just gotta keep working at it from what I remember. I got mine out without the tools I used the two thickest feeler gauges I had. If I remember correctly it took like an hour of jiggling the hu and the tools to get it out.

Yeah I wouldn't make a good stereo thief lol.

I'm not to worried about the rear due to the rake but its the front that im worried about. I'm already tucking the front tires a little!

That sounds like what the stock double din radio did on my old p5... that thing was a b**** to get out..

hmm...guess i'll just have to keep working at it. i really don't care if i break the headunit. it's just that i don't want to break the dash and all that s***.

This may be a dumb question but did you use four of the din removal tools? I know we put a pretty big scratch to my radio surround when we took mine out. That thing sucks. you can't really get it out with only two of the removal tools.

get two more. It confused us too until we looked it up and found it somewhere. You gotta use two per side (stupid I know). It will be MUCH easier.

pics with the wheels

what you guys think?

You can get em almost anywhere. I actually found some in the car area at the supermarket near the crappy capacitors and car speakers. Best Buy should have them too.

To elaborate a little on how to use all four, you have to put one on each side on the top and then one on each side on the bottom.
