What have you done to your MSP today?

no, but his gf is, so he's pretending he is so as not to be beaten (or cut off from the lovin... which is worse) lol

btw, I'm not sure if I should be baffled or impressed at your level of dedication to fully answering this question. If its not google-able... I'm not going to bother. lol

lol. I have a passion for the MSP, what can i say?

Google shows platinum as well. And a vendor i talked to said platinum too so thats why i want to know

Lol I don't argue the gf on mazda/mitsu parts I usually end up wrong...kinda like she doesn't argue with me on mechanics cause that's what I do. But yeah we double checked with our buddy at mazda and they are iridium in the msp

we have conflicting answers from reliable sources. this should be fun. Anybody have an MSP they haven't changed the plugs on?

First, Pull em out and tell us what they are...

Then, Run like hell, cuz we're gonna beat you.

They are NGK-R PZFR6F

That is what the plugs say that i pulled out of my car when i changed plugs last year (yeah i dont throw anything away)and considering how poorly the person before took care of the car I am almost positive they are the stock plugs

mazda part number is 0000-18-kj11 for the MSP trying to find what this crosses to in NGK...tried mazdapartsonline.com but it just says spark plug...and is quite expensive for platinum

if its a dealer spec part... running expensive would make sense. Not saying that proves or disproves... basically just sayin it doesn't mean much to me. lol

stickers FTL. The only stickers on my car are black "zoom-zoom" stickers in my quarter windows, and you really have to be looking for em from the outside (unless the car is filthy and the dirt shows the outline LOL), but they show up well looking out from inside...

hell yea man! i gots da white zoom zoom stickerz on my quarter windows.

Product line stickers (exception being M247.com :D) are like free advertisements for the company. Unless they sponsor you (by that I mean, you get stuff for free because you're name is not just Joe Schmo) then great.

got the setup i purchased from flaps720 put on tonight! i didn't have my camera handy tonight but i'll try to snap a pic of the engine bay tomorrow. the setup included an HKS SSQV bov, hardpipes, and a customMSP smic. we took it for a road test and it ran like a dream. i'm letting it run for about 10 minutes as we speak so it can relearn the idle. VERY HAPPY TONIGHT.

thanks jim!

so, its time for some new tires....I'm thinking of Kuhmo Ecsta Spt this time since the 711s are no longer produced.

I ran a 215/40/17 with these...think I should stick with that? Run a wider tire maybe?

Stick with the 215/40's...unless you can find decently priced 225/40's but I am pretty sure that's an oddball size. Heard a lot of good about the spt's I think scott and brian (when he had his mp3) ran them. I am partial to the hankook z212 but its a fast wear tire
