+1. At this point, my MSP is worth more dead than alive. LOL. The idea of parking it on the beach before high tide has crossed my mind a few times. (laugh)

In my opinion, pretty much just poor tuning by Mazda. They were in too much of a hurry to get it out that they took a bunch of shortcuts. I love the car, don't get me wrong. But it is hands down the most frustrating vehicle I have ever owned. And I baby it.....that's the funny thing.

Still <3 mine. It's been doing great since getting put on DD duty after selling the P5 and should continue to be great till we get the S2000 and the MSP goes back to "fun time driving" lol

Same here. Mine has done ok ever since reviving it from the coma that the previous owner put her in. Still have problems here and there, but nothing major.

so i went to autozone and the speed protege t/stat they gave me is hella short and does not look like the one i have in there, i asked for the na t/stat and it looks similar but not exactally the same, should it be ok?

When you think about it, the MSP isn't much different than the ES right? I mean, obviously turbo and outer appearances. I guess ECU, suspension.... nevermind...

It's the same block as the ES and P5 and the same tranny correct?

****... nevermind. I love the MSP, but sometimes I wished I would've just bought an ES and made a FAKESP... like DJ Dub.... lol!

decided to try out the MAF idea first. i figure that the o2 sensor has been taped like that since i bought the car back in august...so why would it just now go bad? MAF on the other hand can go bad in the blink of an eye from what i'm told. should be arriving at my doorstep tomorrow. cross your fingers for me!

so good news is, i got an email from velocity factor tonight and it said that my GHL has finally begun the shipment from Detroit to my house. OWNAGE!

I checked my oil today at lunch and my ******* engine damper is gone! the fuckign thing broke apart even with three solid motor mounts, front, rear, and trans!!!!!!!!!! I'm suprised the ******* thing didnt tear s*** up on its way out of the engine bay like my belts and what not!

yes it was a weapon-r damper.... My camera sucks at trying to capture the detail of the issue. Their are bits of shreaded metal on the part up by the strut tower.
