hell of a deal...but i'd rather take a brand new GHL than a chopped up ION
pick up a soldering kit from Radio shack, its like $12 and try it out. Thats all I did and can solder ok now![]()
the key to good soldering is making sure the soldering iron has had enough time to get to maximum temp. then lightly heat the objects to be soldered, touch the solder to the iron and allow the solder to drop onto the connection. then use the iron to spread it where needed. make sure you have a block of wood covered in aluminum foil to rest the iron on until it cools after you unplug it. also make sure you buy the right kind of solder for the job. different jobs requre different types of solder. the local hardware store or home depot should be able to tell you what kind you need
Installed the HIDs last night. They look really good, not all ghey blue like. just bright.
Gotta adjust my headlights tonight cuz I took it out just to test them last night and got flashed by a car pretty much immediately...

Have fun dailying a rotary...not my cup of tea...fun to play around with and drive on the weekends though
