see. haha. There seems to be a lot of stories on here that only the vet members really know in detail such as this one, Street-unit, TMF feud, etc...

did my last oil change with good ole dino oil, next up will be the royal purple in 1.5k miles and no more dino oil.

Today my head unit display completely crapped out. Radio works, but no display. I'm going to have to have someone do the ribbon fix for me, cause I've never soldered anything in my life.

For now, I feel like the dude in my sig.

the key to good soldering is making sure the soldering iron has had enough time to get to maximum temp. then lightly heat the objects to be soldered, touch the solder to the iron and allow the solder to drop onto the connection. then use the iron to spread it where needed. make sure you have a block of wood covered in aluminum foil to rest the iron on until it cools after you unplug it. also make sure you buy the right kind of solder for the job. different jobs requre different types of solder. the local hardware store or home depot should be able to tell you what kind you need

Anyone here seriously interested in a complete iON exhaust? If anyone is seriously interested, PM me and I can get it if the price is right. I just need to know that someone is seriously interested before I make the purchase.

EDIT: Nvm, I'm just gonna throw this out to the dogs instead of fussing with trying to make a profit. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MAZD...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

Doesn't have the J-pipe but the rest of the kit is there for 535 shipped. It's not mine but I figured I could help someone out.
