Ran some Seafoam through the vacuum system twice. Put some in the crankcase the 2nd time around. Drained oil and put on a new filter and filled with fresh oil. At 73,494 miles I was overdue on the oil change. Its all decarboned now and ready to roll on!

how much did you put in? How long did you run the engine after putting it in? you notice anything different?

I only put in a couple of ounces of it and ran the engine for a few minutes. Just figured since it had been almost a year since the last oil change that it wouldn't hurt. I use seafoam to combat and control carbon buildup and clean the fuel system once in awhile. My exhaust tip is never black & sooty so it has to be working.

I almost got my trunk done, well besides I cant pop it HAHAH,


SOMEONE HELP, so I have a carbon trunk. And I took the torchin bars out because it was making one side stick up higher no matter what. But it wont Pop up at all now and it wont stay up, SO im thinking of getting NGR Carbon Hood Dampers and using them for my trunk (I have a GT Spec Trunk cage i was thinking of using as a mount for the Dampers) Any suggestions?

I'd just get a rubber stopper of some sort on the sides so that it'll come out of the latch.. the dampers don't usually force it open, they usually push in or out depending on which side of center you are.

?? its level with the car, the rods made it WAY to high, so i took them out, now its level, I need it to POP/Open fully when i pop the trunk, So would dampers make the trunk fully open without me getting 2 people?
