Did you ever hear any type of piston slap before you blew the head gasket? Mainly when the engine is cold? Because if the tolerance between the piston and cylinder wall is too large you will get piston slap until the piston warms up and expands. If you did not hear any of that, I would say you are fine... but like the guy above me said, im no mechanic.

no weird noises, nothing like you said..

If you ever want to get that fixed I know somebody who can match that paint and does it for a pretty good price

If I am going to paint anything on the car, I'm probably going to do it the right way and the expensive way but gutting it and redoing everything. I don't have that kind of cash either.

"Why would I?" you might be asking yourself. Because I've got so many little chips and dings and you can see where it was cleaned wrong that it doesn't make sense to worry about a little detail like the bumper color being off slightly.

nope.. absolutely no...not even after blowing the head gasket... also how the hell do you remove the oil pan spacer ? we have removed all of the bolts and that s*** dont come out or loose..any tips ?

You want the easy way or the hard way? The hard way is you have to remove the transmission and get to the bolts behind the flywheel. The easy way is to drill two holes in your bell housing and get them that way. There is a how to on here for that somewhere

Thanks.. I wish i knew where.. i need that info so bad...

No need to PM, there is no real write up on how to do it, I had to get the info by "word of mouth" but I can walk you through it and take pictures of where I drilled the holes and what not. It actually wasn't that bad of a job to do as aluminum is teh soft, you just have to make sure you don't go too deep as you'll start hitting the flywheel. The other tough part is the retaining pins that hold the pan aligned make it tricky to pull the pan out once the bolts are out. I bent the crap outta one of those so I just removed it. No worries.

I WOULD NOT drive the car for more than a couple seconds that way. The alt belt is also your water pump belt and you WILL over heat the engine. Trust me my belt did the same thing and about made the same mistake
