What have you done to your MSP today?

Everyone is right you cant really tell unless you start looking at the rails and stuff of the car. because it might not really be hit that hard but its hard to tell from pictures.

the real question is whether or not the frame is teaked, and if so, how badly.... I hate to say it, but my gut tells me she's toast.

if the frame is twisted in anyway shape or form its totaled even if its just a slight twist, and that came from ken from pg after my accident
this has been one bad start for the msp in 2009

honestly it looks like ur wheel got into a fight with a speed bump. And well...the speed bump won. :( Sorry to joke about ur situation. I hope all goes well.

If your lucky besides the obvious body damage that it broke the ball joint which judging by how the wheel is sitting is what happened. Probably going to need a new control arm, shock, strut mount, wheel, tire, fender liner, ect. Probably all said and done if you do all brand new mazda parts with labor looking in the $3k range maybe a little less

I would say closer to 2k after paint but I guess that all depends on aftermarket OEM or OEM parts.

After pulling my engine's head off, everything looks nice and clean. but since is opened up i have decided to do work on the engine, I need to replace all 4 oil Squiters, i'm also thinking of doing .20 over size Arias pistons or a Stroker Kit.. I'll have up for sale soon my Arias low compression pistons they are in intact condition almost new, also very clean do to the meth kit, everything inside the engine is clean and good, but since i'm planning on running more boost i'm going to do something a little better and bigger to the engine.. i'll post the pistons up in the FS thread as soon as i take pictures of them..

You do realise when you stroke the block out that you will have to lower your rpms right? I think it might be better to do a destroker kit and up the boost. imo... What do you guys think?

Well it all deppends what my Mechanic tells me, they build in here some of the nicest rallye cars here where i live.. I already told them what i what from this little build. i want to boost 30+ PSI and make near 600whp this time. also it all deppends on the price of the parts and if i get a good discount where i'm buying them, since my friend ain't charging me for labor...

This is what i have in Mind Daniel:

* ARP Main Studs
* Clevite 77 Complete engine bearing set .25mm (std) or .50mm deppending on what i need to do to the crankshaft.
* 4 New Oil Squiters
* AWR Deep sump oil pan
* Arias Custon .020 over low compression pistons again on 8.5:1 Compression
* 505zoom intake Manifold ( when finished )

you are correct. The FS engine is already a long stroke engine so a stroker kit would just make it worse. Oversized pistons would net you a better gain

I could drive my MSP to school in the snow today but since i have no front bumper and a CAI...i think i'll pass on locking up my engine.

Plans Changed again, after talking to my Friend which is my mechanic, we are doing a whole new custom build, after opening the engine up we have found out how bad TBK Performance is... These People here build World Rallye cars in their shop so that means an outstanding quality work is going to be done to my car. After a few hours of talking, discussing and calculating our new project this morning i was so amazed of all of the stuff they have in mind to do to my next build to make more power, in a better way and to last longer using this time top Hi performance parts from Germany and England to do my engine build, Such as Pistons, Bearings, Oil cooling system for transmission and engine, custom Tune to the Haltech etc etc etc. They also make in the shop LSD's, Gears and axles for the transmission. They are calculating every single detail to build the engine to boost 2.4 bars (34 PSI) pistons size and specs needed, the proper compression to run that amount of boost, also calculating the right head gasket thickness etc.they sure have a completely different and more professional way to do a project than TBK i really hate talking bad about others people work but after comparing the knowledge, equipment and professionalism TBK and these people are light years away, and I'll proof that with the results of my next build. This is going to take months to do, but when it comes out I'll have nice videos as well as dynos and tons of pics to share it with you guys in here... we are going to build a track racing car to be driven on the streets..

This is what I will only buy from USA:

* AWR Deep Sump oil pan.
* Mazda OEM all 4 Oil Squitters.
* ARP Main Engine Studs.
* Doc B Performance oil system.
* 505zoom Intake Manifold.

The rest of the parts needed are going to be made here in Europe..

Sounds awesome Miguel! Good luck and keep us informed!

I'll be happy with a measly 400whp (after more headwork)...Gt3071r going in today :)
