What have you done to your MSP today?

I just bought the springs from a member here which he used for about 1.5 months and they looked brand new. The ride is smoother than stock according to me the driver and passengers. It is a little stiff on bumps but its still awesome. The drop is 1.3" and you can notice in the front but the back looked exactly the same to me. I put a lot of weight in the trunk now during the settling period to see if it sits a little lower. I'll post some pics tonight.

Hey, thanks! (thumb) Pics would be appreciated.

Oh, this past weekend I got a ported & polished intake manifold with VTCS removed installed on my MSP.

It's nice. I like.

I had my driver side lock ripped to shreads by some wanker that tried to steal my car....ah, I forgot, the thread is what have YOU done to your MSP today....

That sucks man.

I got some new yellow silicone hosing to replace the old ones--figured I'd dress up the engine bay a little

The front is the only noticeable part but I just put a lot of weight in the trunk and evened it out during the settling period to see if it stays lower in the back. Honestly its not a big drop at all but its something and I know I'm never going to have to worry about rubbing. Plus it does ride smoother than stock.

Indeed, it sucks. Some guy driving a burgandy Proteges howed up to my place Tuesday morning and asked if we had called to get a switch in the backyard repaired....I'm sure this guy was scouting to see our movements.....and the clunk in back....

so ive been working on my car for the past month now trying to get all my parts put in, but i seem to keep running into issues. for example my SS FTC was programmed wrong so i had to send it back which took 1.5weeks, and im waiting on a backordered EGR pipe for my 626 mani, etc, etc. So on friday night i put the re-programmed FTC in and it worked. On sunday I had a car club dyno day and put down 209HP/178TQ @ 8psi on a bad stock base map, FMIC and exhaust. I was happy with the numbers seeing it not tuned well at all and i still have more parts to go in still. Also after 3,000 rpm i run just pig rich and i lose alot of power! So my EGR pipe will be here this week and so ill be putting my 626 mani on along with my 440 injectors, and then on june 26th i have a tuning day set up to have it all tuned. Im trying to decide if i wanna tune for 10psi or 12psi.

loaded the kelly 2 map, and put on a gt spec ladder bar.......kelly 2 map scared the s*** outta me at wot it was readin' 13.2 on the wideband.

I had my front driver's side wheel bearing replaced.
Old one was shot, noisy as hell. Rides smooooooth and quiet now. (thumb)

Just got my CS exhaust in the mail today. Im waiting on the exhaust hangers and i will put it on probably this weekend.

I put jb weld on my Thunder manifold, only on the very back I had a long crack. And a small crack that I don't even know if it was all the way through over the runner that is all the way to the left, such a small amount that you can't tell I put anything on it. Put alot on the back crack but you can't see it so hopefully the car will run a bit better.

I'll drive it tomorrow but with CEL too rich, I won't really be able to tell so...

And I started to do the DIY joep fpr install, but didnt know there was a check valve that goes onto the line.
So I have a T in between the stock line, a line coming off of it but I'm not gonna connect it to the intake, just gonna leave it open. For now I just capped off the line.
I did drive it with the line not capped off didnt really notice anything out of the normal but supposedly it helps drop the fuel a bit, and since I have too much fuel CEL, thought I'd try it.

Does anyone have pics of this check valve or is there even one?
