What have you done to your MSP today?

I've never posted in this thread... but today I did something wonderful to my msp.....

Today I put a fully built/blueprinted longblock into my msp.

no :(

I have a few things left.... passenger axle, intake mani, connecting all the wiring, battery, spark plugs and fluids. fingers-crossed, hopefully she'll turn over tomorrow evening.

good luck my friend, i'm sure you'll get it all sorted with Jamie's help, he's a sharp kid, all you have left are the little things, on friday i have to swap the heads on my car in hopes that it will fix my low compression issue i'm having

Yeah, he was awesome two weeks ago when we took out the blown one. He knew alot of little niches that really made it smooth.

that sucks about the head. keep us updated. Oh, I'm sending you a PM too.

i would like to go forged but its not worth it in these cars i dont think cause i mean if you forge it you have to spend more money on a ecu and turbo to make it worth while. i guess it all adds up.

lol, i still owe 11k on the car..... the dealership wanted 6K + turbo (if necessary) for a new engine and 5K + turbo (again, if necessary) for a used msp engine. So far, I'm at $3200.00. Trust me when I say that forged was the best choice, with me doing the labor.

forged is worth it man, stock internals mostly = holes in the block, forged = a spun bearing or fried piston, those are cheaper fixes than a whole new block

i'm slightly intoxicated so if i'm not making sense then don't mind me lol!!!!

lol its all good. but even if you fry a piston its still expensive. and spun bearings are not cheep either. i love my msp and i just hate how we spend all this money to just get beat down by other cars.

i wish i had an engine stand, i have one of the two though :)

So did you want the din for the avc-r and wideband?

you don't even need to pay me for the acrylic, just my time and effort, i have tons of acrylic laying around
