What have you done to your MSP today?

Friday I drag raced the car for the first time ever. I picked a bad day to go since it was over 90 degrees and very humid. I ran a best of 14.377@100.58 with a 2.4 60ft on 10psi. I really need to work on launches! I also think I blew up my axle since it makes very loud wub-wub-wub noises until I accelerate or brake. Stage 2 axles here i come! I had a lot of fun though. I need to get the car fixed and go back when it's 60-70 degrees out, I should easily be in the mid to high 13's with a good launch.

nice time. i did basically the exact same time as you last time i ran, cant wait to see what i can get now tuned AND on drag radials. i think i was running consistant 2.4 60' times as well.

you sure one (or several) of your lugs arent just loose?

came home from vacation to find that my windshield cracked while sitting in the driveway waiting for me. Bad times recently.

I color matched the "M" emblems in my grill and on the trunk to match the black mica paint...looks pretty decent

can you snap some pics of your front end with the grille? ive been thinking about blacking out my emblem for awhile now. seeing how it looks would be nice before i try it.

yeah i can take a pic and post them in the morning when its light out...Honestly i think they look awesome blacked out. Its the next best thing you can do since we cant just pull the emblems off to get that shaved look.

Wired a Splitsecond AFC this afternoon, hopefully tomorrow finialy install the wideband O2 Sensor(assuming the shop lets me use thier welder).

put on some blue xenon foglights and B&m short shifter. foglights took longer cause i had to take bumper off. had no idea foglights were so hard to install lol well not really.i also got my fmic mounted now am waiting for the shop to make my pipes, and my afc should be coming in 2 weeks, then off to racewars, its a local drag and show competition, first time going pretty excited

you didn't have to take off the bumper you know, just need a 14mm wrench and a standard phillips screw driver, you can take out the fogs from underneath, just jack up the car a little in the front for more work area(optional) :)

i looked it over pretty good before and i see no way you can get the fogs out without taking the bumper off. there was one nut that just wasnt accessible or soemthing. cant really remember its been awhile since i changed my bulbs.

Installed the SLS J-Midpipe that came in the mail on Thursday. Man that thing rattles!!! I need to get some washers to space the cross member away from the pipe... and I am going to try and bend the exhaust hangers a bit. Also reset the ECU to see what a high flow cat will get me in performance.

do you have polyurathane hangers, some of the guys on the initial Vibrant GB had that problem, solved with the hangers, and they keep your exhaust from lunging out the back of the car if you know what i mean.

**** i hope not, i was considering calling my insurance, some companies will cover it, no deductible and rates stay put, since it is a safety thing. You coming out thursday, i wanna chat with you about your IC pipes?
