just out of curiosity, are the rear brake rotors the same as the front? or is there a difference?

different. they are a bit smaller. there are different part numbers for them, so that is first clue that they are different parts.

thanks

does anyone know where you can get the rear ones for as cheap as the front ones up on the site that evil monkey put up?

My car started to overheat saturday afternoon. So, today I replaced the coolant thermostat and flushed out the radiator until it was basically water. Filled her back up with some prestone 5050 and replaced the old raditor cap with a new one. I spent about 40bucks alltogether and so far the car runs smoothly.

Try adding a coolant additive along with that. Like the ROyal Purple "ICE" coolant additive, etc, etc......i saw a drop in temps with it.

I got my car back up and running. Thank to the instruction I got from forum members in a different thread (Thanks evilmonkey), I installed new (non-warped) rotors and new pads myself. The car now brakes QUIETLY, and the steering wheel doesn't shake violently.

I am t3h happy. It is sooooo nice to be back in t3h Speed. :)

yesterday I sanded, cleaned and primed my eyelids for the Speed. Just waiting for my order to arrive from paintscratch.com to get them painted and clearcoated.

I was gonna do a how to...but I forgot to take pics lol

This past weekend, I drove and drove and drove... 550 miles in total...

From a full tank, I hit 402 miles before the gas light came on! it was pure highway though, not much city.

i installed my stoptech rear rotors and pads yesterday. looks great and performs well.

lol you got the "sleepy-time" eyelids. The paint does look awesome though. I rarely have the patience to do a good job with paint work.
