What have you done to your MSP today?

i think there might be 2 screws and a support bar but im not sure. its been a while.

most people leave the radio where it is and put the gauge pod where the pocket is

Either way you still have to remove the pocket,,, I was hoping someone would tell me how they did it so I don't screw anything up...

(sadbanana)

not sure if its the same on the msp but on my car you use the din tools to take it out

It turns out you remove the head unit and then reach in through the hole above the pocket and depress the plastic tabs from inside. Stupid simple and easy if you don't have to spend the first 45 minutes analyzing...

photos, please!

Will do. I didn't take any of the install, cause (a) I'm an idiot; and (b) It was going so well, I didn't want to jinx it. It was so easy though. Literally 90 minutes after we started on the first bolt, we were on the test drive afterwards.

As for what I did to my MSP today, well I got it dirtier than the poor thing has ever been before. Had a search and rescue mission today and where the plane went down was in this state forest with all these dirt roads. Well they were pretty smooth so I felt it was necessary (on my Kumho Escta XS's) to go 40-50 MPH down these 1-lane dirt roads, pulling e-brake turns around hairpins. A co-driver would've been nice, but Ken Block didn't have s*** on me today!

Haha. Pics are inbound

did you go to the carlisle corvette show this weekend? on friday apparently a lady died on I-81 south and they diverted traffic to the pike....it was retarded.

Nah man... I meant to text you too. I got up this morning and had to rush home for a search and rescue mission in western MD. Some guy made a forced "landing" in the forest and we had to go find him and secure the site. He was fine, but it totally screwed up my day. I'll be back up there sometime again soon to do pics with you.

For now, here's how dirty I'm talking about:

think i may have my front lip resprayed while i am home for the holidays in december, there is a lot of scratches on the underside from the previous owner, and get my rear bumper resprayed this summer (from slowly backing into person behind me to avoid having a bus smash the front of the msp)

Well I finally did an oil change after a year and two months from the last one I did, only 5,000 miles though. Also put some Meguires Quick Detailer on it today, smells so good now!

Flyin, looks good! How were those tires doing on those roads?
