What have you done to your MSP today?

Gears are an expensive mod - worth it, but pricey. And its not something you're going to want to skimp on. If you're not ready for some beefed up ones, then just save up until you're ready for them. Don't settle for something that may not last if you're looking for some big numbers.

You can call TBK at 305-592-8139. He'll give you some pointers at what you should get, depending on what it is you're looking at getting out of your MSP. He's a master mechanic and engineer, not just a salesperson trying to make you buy a particular product.

word thanx Lara... I have a BUNCH of other stuff I gotta do before I think of Gears.... boring the motor.02 over, buy pistons, new bolts and studs, etc etc etc.... basically the only parts I have are the intake, the Turbo, K1 Rods...

ordered the medeival motorsports front and rear motor mounts. one more step to big power. next up is greddy profec ebc and greddy turbo timer.

so now you decided not to finish it? make up your damn mind(screwy)

LOL!

this has been the decision for quite some time now...I've just been delaying getting everything in to put her back to stock due to funding

I'm keeping my built parts, but I'm selling the car stock...I'm probably picking up a beater ass broken down protege next year and turning it into a track-only beast

I changed my oil and switched to a magnetic drain pan plug.

I got halfway through installing the AXR anti-clunk brackets, then discovered that the kit was missing a bolt and 4 nuts. I was pissed, to say the least. Had to slap all the stock crap back on and now I have to run to Home Depot to pick up the missing items.

I also tried to remove my second O2 sensor to put in the non-fouler trick, but the cheap O2 sensor removal socket I bought ended up just stripping the sensor. Vise grips wouldn't get it loose either. Now I have to go to Midas and see if they will loosen it for me for like $20 or something.

Add the fact that I had to change my mom's flat tire in the rain, got a ticket on my way to where my mom was, and I did not have a good weekend at all. :(

i was gonna pick up a magnetic drain plug...happen to remember the part number and where it was from?

sounds like a bad time man :( sucks....you didnt spray the o2 sensor w/ pb blaster did you?

Yeah, sucks big time. I totally forgot to spray it. The funny thing is, the way the socket sripped the sensor so easily, I don't think any spray would have made much difference. Maybe I'm wrong about that, but I'm definitely slapping myself for not spraying it first. Argh.

yeah, spraying it would do amazing things.... i backed out a pair of exhaust bolts that you would have NEVER guessed would come out with threads.. just doused em like 3 times in 10 min intervals.. encouraged em a lil with an oxy acetylene torch, and they were out... best of luck to you. I'd be pissed if I rounded one I just wanted to put a non-fouler in.. rounding a junk sensor wouldn't be so bad! haha
