Nice drop! (2thumbs)
That's not low enough. Depending on altitude I have a vacuum reading at idle anywhere between 18-21 mm Hg when fully warmed up. 18 being higher up in the mountains (2100 ft) and 21 when I'm about at sea level (like 6 ft)hey guys, i gota ? for some of ya, i heard that if your boost gauge has a vac reading your suppose to be able to tell if you have a leak. what is the vac reading suppose to be at and what will it be if you have a leak, mine stays at -10 on start up and goes to -12 in gear when i let off the gas while moving.
looks good but that pin stripe needs to hit the curb man!

The 03.5 spoiler might be a nice addition as well... But it does look good with the 03...
so ive definetely got a leak then at -10. dangitThat's not low enough. Depending on altitude I have a vacuum reading at idle anywhere between 18-21 mm Hg when fully warmed up. 18 being higher up in the mountains (2100 ft) and 21 when I'm about at sea level (like 6 ft)
Either that or your boost gauge is severely out of whack. How's the car driving? I would think with a vacuum reading that low you would have to be feeling some sort of ill effect.so ive definetely got a leak then at -10. dangit
Snapped a clean one today.
it drives ok, i mean ive got a really bad feeling like im towing something sometimes and all of a sudden it just kicks in, i thought it was lag but its not its building boost fast, i guess it might be either from the leak or from running so lean.
looks good!
probably a leak, usually itll bog down if ur running too rich. if u run to lean, itll just blow up![]()
Thanks man. That means a lot coming from my idol.
