Just got done replacing my spark plugs with the NGK Iridiums gapped at about .029 and it's still running horribly. I did notice though that cylinder furthest to the right (4?) had a little bit of oil down where the spark plug screws in as well as some oil on the corresponding spark plug. I also checked the coolant which looked completely normal in color and after letting it run and reach running temperature it didn't overheat whatsoever. As for the smoke, the more I gave it gas the more smoke was released.

I think it's important to note that I just recently had the valve cover gasket replaced about a little over a month ago. I'm not sure if improper installation would cause the oil on the spark plug and where it attaches?

AEM boost gauge just arrived. New to me AEM wideband is also on the way. After that gets here, I'll be installing my AFC again for tuning and datalogging. Nice thing is now, I can datalog my boost readings as well and compare them to the internal map sensor on the AFC for accuracy. Now, all I need is an AEM oil pressure gauge which will also be logged to compare pressure readings at various RPMs.

I seriously hope it's not a piston ring or head gasket! If it's a bad piston ring, would it be worth it to have the engine totally rebuilt when considering resale value?

just installed my retrofits and test fitted my valve cover. Pictures coming tomorrow when I get new hardware for the vc and new bulbs for the headlights

I havent even driven my car for a week. Its been sitting in the garage doing nothing. Man it actually felt great, I havent even thought about all the s*** I have to fix/install on it. I started a new hobby which I thought wouldnt be too expensive but its turning out to be. Sigh.

yea everyone else stopped making them

I think I'm going to keep the car. I had a guy look at it last night that rolled up in a slammed Civic hatch with 15 of negative camber. I don't think he has the money, but I don't think I'd sell my car to a ricer.

Yeah it would be faster and cheaper. I would only consider a rebuild if you plan on upgrading the internals.

But upgrading the internals would be much more expensive correct? About how much you think to a buy a used FSDE and drop it in?

installed my retrofits, work lug nuts, signature products valve cover, signature products vented catch can w/ -8AN braided line.
