My car currently has no heat![]()
Ok so last night on my drive home the car started sputtering and I had to get it towed home. Well today I go read the codes and I have a cylinder 3 misfire and a p0421 code on the car. I had one extra coil pack at the house and friend that and it didnt help. It was just the coil pack withought the plug for cylinder three on it though Sony used the same plug for cylinder three. After that I pulled the spark plug out of cylinder three and plugged it into the wore goin to the coil pack and placed it on top of the engine and turned it over and it's getting spark. Im not sure what else it could be. Could it be the bad o2 sensor? Or what else should I try doing?
Could be your primary O2.
I guess I'll try replacing that ad see if it helps, the code reader just gave me the code and said bank one, is that the one in the manifold?
I'm not sure what the whole code said it just gave me that number and I remember bank one, I replaced the spark plugs though not even a year ago and used the ngk and soars them out the right amountare you having the bank one system to lean code? if so i had the same issue until i changed my spark plugs bc appearntly the msps only can use a certain ngk plug... dont happen to remember the p number though
Well I have no catalytic converter at all...P0421
* The catalytic converter is no longer functioning properly
* An oxygen sensor is not reading (functioning) properly
* A sparkplug is fouled up
bulls***. I've seen a hundred times. A catalytic converter has to be totally ****** for it to cause misfires, but they will. And it doesn't matter here, because he's catless.... A bad cat wouldnt cause missfires.
