What have you done to your MSP today?

Started detailing it today. Still need to do the wheels, headlights, front and rear bumper, and trunk along with spoiler. Its just freaking hot outside.

Picked up my 2-bolt, 3" flange for the downpipe, so I can install it when it arrives.

I think I'm going to go ahead and do a 3" exhaust instead of 2.5"...

I think you're missing a lug nut on your front, left wheel...

Stud was broken awhile back. Finally got it replaced but haven't gotten new lug nuts yet. I'm not sure if I want to go after market or just stay OEM.

Edit: Its far from perfect, rock chips, cracked chiped paint on the rear bumper, missing a lug, front bumper doesnt fit perfect ect ect. but I've seen a hell of a lot worse posted on here in the past 6 years.

Look at that shine! not bad for ten year old paint lol.. mine could use a good wetsand and buff. Looks good man.

Looks like I'm gonna be broke till Christmas bonus time, so I can't do anything till then, so frustrating. I need two engine stands, and a cherry picker just to get started on putting the junkyard motor in. Realistically it's looking like she'll be running sometime next spring, lol. By that time, I may just decide to sell it though. I'll get ***** with the sub-1000 mile coilovers, and sub-1000 mile m-factory diff just installed, but I really don't want to shell out the $3k-$4k to buld the motor, and this is getting crazy.

At this point, I'm just tired of trying to overcome the short-comings of this platform, and may just build my AE86.

Just build the damn thing or put a non forged motor in it and turn down the boost. Then DD that b**** if thats the case. The AE86 will have its short falls as well.

I have two company vehicles, I don't need a DD at all, that's the point. I also own an MS6.

The MSP is supposed to be my fun car, and it has been nothing but trouble, and expensive. I am really ready to throw in the towel. :/

I should have sold it to the guy that wanted it when I had it for sale, back before I blew the diff. $3.5k later, I have an M-factory, and Fortune C/O's, and now a blown motor. :( This car sucks.

Im getting this weird feeling like misfire when the car is warm at around 3000 rpm. Also when leaving a stoplight i have to rev it up to get it going, not smooth at all. No CELs though.

Any idea?

cars are money pits in general. Sell it if you want but you will be missing it later on down the road. You see a lot of people saying that. If you want something fast, fun realiable, find something stock that fits that need. Other then that crap happens and you have been here long enough to know the short comings of this car. along with what to realisticly expect out of it reliably.

For sure you should have sold it instead of worrying about what he might do to it. But shoulda woulda coulda...

Just do a basic rebuild and adjust your tuning parameters. **** spending up to $4K on an FSDE motor.
