I know, but after reading through this thread, everyone else made it sound like you did.

You dont want my wife making you an AWD system. Thats all i have to say. She is really good at smash bros though. She keeps whipping my ass.

why do you say more maint?

I count maint as time under the hood.

At that kinda HP you need parts that are geared towards racing, and not towards lasting. So, you have to keep an eye on things more. And of course, things break easier at that level. So you really have to pay attention to details more, and to me, thats not fun.

At say 350whp, youve about tripled the engines NA output. Thats alot of stress on things, its not like starting with a platform that has that kinda HP to begin with.

tbh im replacing just about every ******* thing in that motor lol.

i completely agree with terbow. and just because the block is built does not mean it will last forever at higher stress levels.

o i know that i dont expect it to last forever. lol least im not comming out saying i want 550 hp lol im actually keeping things resonable. Im almost certain i can break the 350whp mark with no problem. knowing my luck tho ill proabbly dyno 349.98 lol

This is the reason that I am going with a realistic daily driver build. It is going to take a lot of time and money to get my car at a 12psi reliable daily driver. Sure with the motor I have I will be able to easily boost beyond that, however is it worth it for what I use it for? Probably not no.

its also a function of how you abuse the car and time you spend under heavy loads.

who really cares about the numbers as long as the car feels how you want it to?

yea, i was on that path once. I think 275-350 is doable on this car. anymore and i think it require more maint than its worth (traction aside of course).

you guys are so wrong about traction in these cars , and are all over a AWD systems. AWD ain't all of that you guys think, is good I'm not saying the opposite but, i have 400whp+ i dont have all of that bad traction at all, and I'm using cheap tires, Nankangs, of course if you are racing from a stop youll need drag radials or slicks, but when you have a certain amount of HP you race rolling at a higher speed, thats how the big hp cars does it, like cobras, mustangs, vettes etc. i really dont experience a bad bad traction with my msp at all i might need better brand tires and thats it, i dont have wheel hop at all. Ive seen TBK Superprotege on videos on the track kicking AWD and RWD cars butt. beating vettess, cobras and even evos. so I'm not really worried about AWD. with good tires and good suspension you are straight !!!
