Info Screen malfunctioning

I have had my 2018 CX-5 Grand Touring for about 3 years. Last year, in the heat of summer, the info screen started acting up intermittently. Randomly changing from radio to other settings, changing station, etc. With no prompting or touching of the controls. And today, at 36 degrees, it went totally crazy. Scrolling through the FM radio stations, not responding to any commands except the Home button on the console, and even that didn't respond immediately.

Anyone else out there seen something like this?

Also check and see if Mazda will replace the screen. I seem to recall that there was some class action couple years back for the ghost glitch. I think you have to pay for the repair and then file a claim.

If you're DIY you can always disable the touch function. That's one way to fix the problem. I'm sure there's some tutorial on Youtube.
