What have you done to your MSP today?

Sounds like a lifter to me. How many miles are on your car?

(In my defense my speakers are terrible.)
Yeah, I'm with SeR on this one. You've got a lifter flattening out after it sits, but when it warms up it pumps back up and goes away.

Could it be due to low oil pressure? I know that every lifter I have ever heard making a noise was because of poor servicing of the vehicle.

I dont have vics/vtcs on the car, and theres less than 5k on that engine. Oil pressure is fine also.

Would that be worth me getting in there, is it dangerous?

Does anyone know where I can get a water neck spacer for the water neck to keep the lower radiator hose off the pope down pipe.

I believe Kyle (the carbon fiber *****) has one on his car. His screen name is eluding me.

Yesterday I had the rear caliper, pads and 1 rotor replaced. Also switched back to the MB Weapons and Ventus V12's that are about to bite the dust. Here's hoping they last until I sell the car. Oh and today I gave the interior a much needed dusting and vacuum. Tomorrow I will make the exterior match.

I find it much easier to just throw some extra dirt on the exterior to make them match :(

You would think I use the MSP as a rally car if you saw it in person. But that's what happens when you work right in front of a muddafacking rock quarry. No joke, they drive dump trucks past the parking lot all day long and have to send a water truck every now and then to help prevent dust storms. The best part is... I work at a Cadillac dealership. What. The. ****.

"Okay folks we have a CTS-V on the side lot here, but first you may want to put on a gas mask for protection. Oh and don't worry, the first coat of dirt is no charge".

...just realized this isn't the "what pissed you off today" thread. My bad.

Going to seafoam the motor, replace plugs and oil this weekend.

Typically i put the seafoam into the line coming off the pcv. What vacuum line do you all use? What gets the best coverage for cleaning out with the seafoam?

hooked my turbo timer up that I bought from Fatti03MSP finally since my old one was stolen while I was in Iraq. Good news: it works. Bad news: since the weather was nice, i decided to find the source of my recent coolant leak. Expecting it to be a simple hose replacement or loose clamp, I find what appears to be two small pinholes spraying coolant all over the place on the bottom of my radiator. Looks like it's time to replace my half size. Im going to try to stick with a half size due to my mod plans for the car in the future. Because of the quality of the Mishimoto radiator for our cars, I found a Mishimoto half size with fan and a pretty cool cap. They even offer a fan shroud for it.
