What have you done to your MSP today?

your torino's look titty's also!

sure is nice not having to white knuckle the steering wheel/e-brake handle during a turn now ehh?.....lol

i have to watch my self in turns now. i used to gauge how hard i pushed the car by how much i slid in the seat. now i dont move!

I thought they had good side support?

I doubt it'll happen because I just found out the rears seats wont fit in so F that. I want a seat that looks like OEM good for daily driving but better then the POS stockers...

Why, you'll slide all over the place in those. IMO the stock seats are horrible for anything other than just daily driving.

Got my timing belt, water pump and both drive belts replaced today. First time I ever took my car to a shop but I didn't want to mess with the water pump or timing belt.

How much did this run you? I'm considering taking mine to a shop for the same thing + Brach pulley installs.

I mean, I think I could do it, and I might even not screw anything up... but I'd need at least two days of good weather back to back, just in case, and she's overdue.

how much did that run you? i'm trying to get my timing tensioner spring replaced and the timing set back to normal.

you went independent or dealer?

I went to a performance shop that I know from local boards. they charged me 648.00 out the door. I was getting quotes a lot higher from other places. I knew I was going to them either way just wanted to price compare. There the only place I would ever let touch my car.

ah ok

i found a shop that would put my waterpump, and fix my timing for $300. i gotta buy the parts of course so it maybe a total of $500 at most.

Yeah I was going to tackle it myself but its my daily and I can't afford to be calling into work or want to burden anyone to give me a ride. Plus taxes paid for it. :)

Nice! not too bad, this included parts, labor, fluids and tax so not horrible.

ive only fried one coil in the 9 or so months on this setup.

if you sit there with the key in the ignition on position, the coils will fry. it wont be instantaneous but they will start to heat up and melt.

yes you dont have to sit there with the ignition on, but since he already has the turbo module, then why not...

if you loan the car to someone or if it is at a shop (getting tint, mechanic, etc..) , they may leave the ignition on.

I like keeping the car as daily drivable and "stock" as possible. Having to worry about not keeping the ignition on for a period of time is not something i want to do.
