What have you done to your MSP today?

Wanted to ask again about VTCS removal, If I remove the flaps and or actuator rod will I have a bad idle? I know my idle was less stable after tying the flaps open all the time.

Anyone have a annoying dash rattle coming from around the glove box area? I can't seem to figure it out, its loud, annoying, and just started. its not my glove box or crap in the door either.

Sometimes the switch plate for the window controls rattles, but after installing solid motor mounts my car has tons of rattles so i'm used to it. Both of the hondas my parents own have a glove box rattle. It's annoying because they are so quiet and smooth otherwise so the rattle is very apparent, I usually drive with the glove box door open.

Alright so removing VTCS causes a permanent bad idle? I need something to do while i'm waiting for my head to return from the machine shop.

Well the idle sucked before when I put a check valve on the vacuum line to keep the VTCS flaps from moving. Oh well i'm just gonna remove the rod/plates and leave the actuators and sensors.

i got my 626 mani for $50 at a wreck yard off a '00 626 and as long as you grab the brake booster hose and the EGR tube your good. you do have to weld the header half of the stock MSP EGR tube to the 626 Intake half of the EGR tube and buy a throttle body gasket (like $5). all in all like $100 bucks if pay for the weld.

I also had mine cleaned and port matched for $150

way cleaner/more room in the back of the engine bay + some HP
