What have you done to your MSP today?

I dont know if you could have that much amp draw on one relay...... I would wire it up to a thermostat and get its power straight from the battery.

EDIT: Also i dont think mazdas dealerships know how many CFM those fans are. I called and asked and they were dicks and I dont think they even know what CFM was a measurement of.

i plan on its on relay just want it to kick on at the same time as the primary. also thats funny as hell on the dealer..

ya I plan on wiring the fans like you said, I just haven't gotten around to it yet, but today my Optima redtop battery that I bought at the end of last summer died(wouldn't hold a charge), but luckily just switched it out at autozone for a new one, good as new.

and ya I plan on hooking up the 2nd fan to a secondary power wire so that when one turns on, it triggers (via relay) the other fan to turn on with the power source from the battery wire directly, with a small fuse in there or something, that way the a/c fan can turn on separately if it needs to, and it won't interfere if the a/c is on anyways and both are turned on normally, it will just be a 2nd power source with a relay to have it on, but that is what I plan on doing, I'll get to it sometime soon

well ya, I just mean the actual a/c fan, I don't run ac either, but I just wanted the a/c fan to come on when the regular/main fan came on too, so they both come on at the same time, but won't overload the circuit if I happen to turn the a/c on at some random point while the other fan is going too

alright. i think im done spending on the car for a bit. wife would kill me if she kept track of my forum dealings. but hey, its in the spirit of making the msp more reliable and less of a gas hog.

in the mail;
ssafc, aem wideband, arp exhaust manifold bolts, new rear rotors/pads. really hoping i wont kill anything pulling the turbo and manifold out. need to fish out two bolts that are either broken off or missing. find somone to weld the crack in the manifold, then ill relief cut the damn thing so it doesnt crack again... save up for a thunder/steedspeed.

looking at getting into the rc thing too... 1/10 touring cars... grabbed a radio and ill wait a bit before getting my chassis....

how much should it cost me to get a custom midpipe made if i buy all the material and cut everything to size? how much do welders typically charge for their time? not sure if i wanna try the local tuner shop cause im almost certain i can get it cheaper somewhere else...

not sure about the mid pipe, and I would like to know too since I want to try to get a mid section made that would delete the CAT on the vibrant exhaust, but as far as welding, I had 2 little tabs welded onto my FMIC for mounting, and a BOV flange welded onto the hot pipe and it cost just about $100+ or so, I think (at least around here) that welding is at least as much as mechanics, pretty sure more if I remember correctly, as far as time, and then whatever the cost of the actual welding supplies and stuff\

and ya, I keep planning to finish up spending money on the car for a while, and I am in the GB for the Perrin fuel rail once that gets going, I'm waiting for my cs front strut tower bar once they get it back in stock next week, and I have to buy new tires which should run me about $600-700 about.. lol so much for saving money, but oh well, eventually I will run out and I will just be able to save up for the whole deal, forged/bigger turbo ect..oh and I forgot to mention the 2 G2 custom paint kits, the first one came out wrong, and the 2nd one they are still trying to find a color to match that is close enough to spicy orange but is not a tri-color.. gotta email them to check in soon too... each kit being $120 lol

maybe ill just take the midpipe off and smash out the cats... lol. semi serious

haha, ya I just want to have a back-up, and be able to switch between the 2, but not sure when this will happen, too bad the CAT for the vibrant doesn't have a good section of pipe on either side, so I would be able to cut it and put another pipe in there, to bolt it on, so I could switch out just the CAT, might be more trouble than it is worth tho, will probably just beg Vibrant until they could get me a test pipe eventually.. who knows

Because the intake have VICS and no VTCS.. I don't like the powerband of the 626 intake manifold.. For have compare the 2 intake manifold on a dyno.. And the 1.8l manifold are the same of 2.0l with small diffrences..

coperspeed, not to nit pick but a yellow emblem on your grill would look great compared to the silver. Just throwin it out there
