What have you done to your MSP today?

to replace the factory pos

i think you got that POS thing backwards...the corksport piece is a POS they shear due to the piss poor welds. Port and polish your stock one and you will be just fine...other wise build a custom exhaust off a SR20DET downpipe

Exrude hone. OR wait and see what Steedspeed can make, that is if you're interested in a divorced wastegate.

Finally got her tuned. With Injen SRI, 2.5" Catless J/midpipe, CustomMSP SMIC w@ 10 psi I got 186 whp on a heatsoaked intercooler. The previous 2 runs before, I hit 193-196whp but he still had to fix some stuff. He didn't want the car to sit near the fan for long because they were charging me by the hour.

Seems a bit low for catless at 10psi. I hit 185whp on my own tune (splitSecond AFC) with the Vibrant exhaust, which has a cat, at stock boost levels.

As for me I will be checking out the engine bay again to find a decent spot to mount the oil filter relocation. I was going to do it this past weekend, but it was seriously cold, and I had too much on my plate to worry about the relocation.

Is that the complete list of your mods? So you have the stock exhaust in place after the catless midpipe? Stock intercooler pipes?

Not to sound like a jerk, but 186 tuned on 10psi with a catless sounds a bit low.

Stock intercooler pipes, stock axleback and the JoeP MBC. Like I said, I did get in the 190's but during the last adjustment, the intercooler was heatsoaked. This was done on a dynonet and the guy told me "it runs a little lower compared to others". It was little over an hour tune.

Hmmm, I highly recommend going with an upgraded exhaust. Some may disagree with me, but with your mods and increased boost, the stock exhaust is holding you back.

I drove with a 2.5" downpipe connected to the stock axleback for a year. When I finally got my hands on a Greddy SP2, the difference was amazing, especially on top end. Highway acceleration/driving was substantially improved. If noise is an issue, go with a Greddy SP2. It's very close to the stock sound.

Yeah, maybe I'll just get another side-exit made for fun on days I race my friends or something. I've got no more money now after this tune. I could always just detach the cat-back. Would cracks in the exhaust manifold be also why I'm not putting as much power?

*I'll scan the dynochart later.

Could be, if you have an exhaust leak before the turbo. What did you use to tune the car?

Edit: Nevermind, I went back a few pages and saw you have a Unichip.

Well, it finally stopped raining so I got to punch it. It's not actually 10 psi, it spikes to 10 and holds at 9.

By the way, here is the dyno chart:

i put the krank vents in last night and ****** with the boost a lil. got in a good run with a 350z from a 35 roll he started in 2nd i started in 3rd to make it interesting. we both hit it and we were side by side till about 5k then i started pulling ahead and the 350z let off. Thats at 8 psi.

dynojets arent the dynos that run lower then other.
Depending how big the cracks are in the manifold they could be hurting spool up and power.
You should definetly get an exhaust, it woulda been the second mod on my car after a boost gauge. Thats definetly holdign back some WHP. It doesnt cost much for a used cat-back or even a custom made one at an exhaust shop, and these cars are to loud to worry about the noise so i dont know why you wouldnt get one.

Im guessing the 158/158 graph is the first run you made when you started tuning?
