What have you done to your MSP today?

dynojets arent the dynos that run lower then other.
Depending how big the cracks are in the manifold they could be hurting spool up and power.
You should definetly get an exhaust, it woulda been the second mod on my car after a boost gauge. Thats definetly holdign back some WHP. It doesnt cost much for a used cat-back or even a custom made one at an exhaust shop, and these cars are to loud to worry about the noise so i dont know why you wouldnt get one.

Im guessing the 158/158 graph is the first run you made when you started tuning?

Yeah, I'm tired of modding this car already. I think I rather put my money elsewhere. We'll see about a new cat-back. I said the dynojet at this shop runs a little lower then others because that's what the tuner said when he compares it to other dynojets. And yes, the 158/158 is the baseline.

Take one of your cats off if you havent already and the resonator. And put on a downpipe. I'll sell you a Hiboost downpipe it's only about a little more than a foot long. So it will bolt up to the stock piping and the s-pipe. $100 shipped 2.5in cast iron I think.

So then why are people sayin you don't have exhaust? Just meanning the muffler they were talking about then. Whatever.

lol omgz t3h ban stick. lol when we installin some more s*** on your car justin? im puttin in my 3" j&mid + wideband this weekend if both of them get here in time after that its back up to 10 for tuning. when we gonna run again hehehe? =)

next time we get a chance to run ill either be in a diff car or will have sunk way too much money into a built block.

I think they are trying to say either get a bigger exhaust, or get a bigger cat-back since I'm still using the stock axleback.

Do this just for fun for a few days. Unbolt the whole exhaust from after the downpipe back. Get the Non-fouler o2 thing going which costs like 4 dollars and hit the dyno again just to see how much of a diff. I've been running the Apex catless 3in and the sound is so loud and there is a power increase(but doesnt always run right, you have to hit it perfectly) plus your taking off alot of weight.

It is nice to have two dp set-ups though. I got one with a cat 2.5 in HiBoost and one with no cat apexr1 3in. Switch em when you want, one is quieter and one isnt, and one will throw a CEL one won't. The non-fouler thing worked at first, now it's not working but I've needed to replace the 2nd o2 sensor since I replaced the 1st one. Race gas(bike).

My car dumps way too much fuel just because of the no cats I think. One day I'll be able to tune it though, and I'm over due for spark plugs, fuel filter and a couple maintenece items.
My car acts like it misfires sometimes, not even close to full throttle, normal driving so I got to look into it. But I start work on Monday! Another South Fla speed is gonna get some serious next upgrades, I already have all the little parts. Only things left are whats in the signature.

Get an O2 sensor simulator and you won't have any problems ever again with the CEL for catless. The second O2 sensor only tells the computer that the pre-cat is working correctly. The O2 simulator sends out the same signal as an O2 sensor would if the pre-cat existed. No computer or emissions tester would know the difference unless they tore apart your car and found the simulator.

Single or Dual output? I actually used to have one but never installed it and I believe I threw it away.

ive got the apexi catless 3" with a non-fouler on it; works fine for me. just put a couple washers or something to move the o2 sensor up more, it should be fine as long it's not "seeing" the crazy rich-ness.

What do you mean by move the sensor up more?

It worked fine for awhile but the sensor itself is bad. I ran race gas like 112 octane through it and on top of that I have no cats. Plus some of the wires melted closer to the engine where it connects. And my CEL says bank 1 too rich.

And sometimes it's running real hard while other times It don't run right. And you can see unburnt fuel cloud behind me when it doesnt run right. Light cloud when it runs fairly right. But now I think I have mis-firing going on or somethin so.

I just disconnected the Boost Gauge line to see if maybe the line is cracked closer to the fire wall. Trying to rule some things out for the cars wierd behavior.

Have to take her in to get a stud replaced that the tire installer guy broke on Tuesday night.

oh ok well if the o2 is burned out then you need a new o2. i thought you meant that it was just throwing a CEL due to the no cat thing. if it's just a CEL from the catless, then moving the o2 up out of the exhaust stream fakes it into thinking that the exhaust air is clean, as if you had cats. i am catless as well, and this works for me.

yay for me!! I have teh notorious "clunk"...

Started hearing it over the last week, though it was my jack (recently used, not back in its spot). However I took it out just to be sure and sure enough the clunk is there...

Havent gotten the car up on the lift to see if it truely is the clunk, or if its possibly my endlinks...

although, 80k and no clunk - Ive been lucky thus far.

i bet you it's the end links.. i too thought it was the jack that was loose in the trunk but it turned out to be the endlinks..

Yeah, I moved my car and decided to take a peak... My right rear endlink looks suspect. It definately looks snapped... Definately why I was able to feel it everytime it clunked.

ordered some gauges and got them today!
