What have you done to your MSP today?

just changed over my car insurance. progressive tried to jack my rates up on renewal, so I switched. Same coverage with lower deductibles for a little cheaper at Geico.

Spent the whole day changing out my stock motor mount for an AWR and afterwords got a CEL for P0171. The idle is crappy and it stumbles but doesn't die while idling, it runs great otherwise, aside from the leaking wastegate. The mount made a bigger difference than expected.

Fooled around with my projectors today to try and get them aimed straight. I just want to punch the designer of our headlights in the face. The left/right knob is right in front of the frame and you have to be a contortionist to get a wrench in there. Guess I have to take my ****** bumper off again. Other than that, it was a good day.

Looking for ideas guys. My Airbrush guy is in his low season right now and said he can continue some work on my car. The only thing I can think of is to continue some more rips down the sides of the car revealing mechanical/biomechanical drawings underneath, kind of like this:

Let me know what you guys think or if you have ideas for the airbrush. Thanks !

I would think something with a industrial theme would be kind of cool under the rips, I dont really know how to say it but I think it would flow good with the Titanium.

just ordered my AEM FIC, can't wait to replace the UniChip and get a good tune. look for the unichip F/S thread coming soon! lol

FWIW, I switched from Geico to Farmers last year, moved my deductibles down from $1000 (as they had been @ Geico) to $250 (& $100 glass) and saved around $500-$600 a year...

First time in my life I'm paying less than $1k per year for insurance. Hell, just 3 years ago I was paying well over $2K per year. Not to mention that next year I turn 25 and from what I understand, your rates usually drop drastically...

For those that have AWR mounts, how tight did you tighten the bolt that goes through the bushing? I replaced my stock passenger side motor mount yesterday to a 70 duro AWR and the NVH went through the roof. The car is louder however it shifts much easier and it feels like it has more power, the stock mount came apart in two pieces.
Now I need to install my new timing belt, water pump, etc. and replace the wastegate and exhaust manifold gasket. And track down the bad idle and random P0171.

Thank you for clearing that up. If he got the 70 durometer it shouldn't be horrible, but yes I'm sure it is a little annoying. I have a 70 durometer AWR front motor mount only and the vibrations aren't too bad but it was a significant increase over stock.

When I had just the front mount my tranny was hitting on that cross member that goes fro
Front to rear does anyone else not have that problem? Once I got my rear mount in it stopped hitting that thing

The shaking isn't that bad but I figure if the bolt is too tight it may create too many vibes in the cabin. All the other mounts are stock and aren't in bad shape.

Ya know I have heard a clunking noise in my engine bay usually when going up/down hills, I will have to inspect that.

That's understandable that it would be annoying, but not tightening the bolt fully kinda defeats the purpose of the mount.
