What tires did you go with?
Getting tired of the summer and UHP all-seasons because they are so loud and never last. Thanks to SCCA contingency money I got a set of Kumho LX Platinums for free. I got them in 225 width for some extra grip. Looking forward to a nice comfortable trip to Lincoln ... which is over 2200 miles round trip.

You use all-seasons for auto-x? Those are a good-all-season, tho.
No. I run Kumho Ecsta V710s for auto-x. I did just pick up two of the V710s used for the trip though because my rears are starting to show cord.
O ok. Ya I just switched out my wheels & tires last night. I had been putting off getting new tires all summer because I was looking to pick up new wheels... The tread on all 4 tires was SCARY low.
It's nice having some meat underneath me now, tho! 17x8 +45 w/ 225/45/17 Hankook Evo v12 on front & 215/45/17 g-force T/A KDW on the rears.
Excuse the dirtyness & rusty rotor/hub!! I took the pics @ 9pm last night when I finally got done adjusting my struts and everything.

No biggie with the dirt and rust, that comes with living in the north. Daily I have 225/45-17 at all four corners. Auto-x I have 245/40-17 in the front and 225/45-17 in the rear.
1. Looking to get KW v2's next spring. So a little more low. Actually the rear sits really nice currently, it's just a touch too high in the front (as with virtually all MSP's w/ aftermarket springs, lol).
2. I'm a silly MP3, not MSP. (shh don't tell ppl I'm in the MSP thread, lol) No boost currently... So no need for 235's, yet. I'm hoping to do a build with a gt28rs the winter after next... Maybe sooner if I can swing it, but I want to finish the suspension and drive-train mods b4 I add boost.
Nice setup. I plan on upgrading to MZ6 front brakes & MSP rear brakes next spring, also. Should fill in the wheel well better, too. My rotors look tiny with the MP3/ES rotors, lol.

What kind of low? Are you on stock suspension currently?

well thats a given but I was simply stating that due to the amount of materials required to make a wire set for the MSP compared to a old school v8. What even makes it worse is that I can get better quality wires for a v8 cheaper then i can get the 1.5 worth of spark plug wires for the MSP. lol(braindead Yes im fully aware of the obvious but it still doesn't sound right
