What have you done to your MSP today?

took all of my belongings out of the car today. threw the misc stock parts i had laying around in the trunk, tossed the title in the glovebox and tomorrow its off to its new home

Found some cleaner/polish in the garage. So i figured ill try using it on my strut bar. Came out pretty good. Gonna attempt washing my car today. But, laziness owns me.

Well I blacked out the tail lights and side markers and installed my HIDs 35w 10000k man them things are bright. And I put my cf trunk on. But ill probably be putting the stock trunk back on in a few weeks.

Got it registered today, now I can finally drive it legally. Also replaced my burnt out cluster bulbs and put silverstar bulbs in the front turn signals.

The clutch is going in. The transmission was sent to get the LSD welded.

Need some help.. Does anyone have a picture of the stock air box with all the piping etc on the car?

I work at a Mazda only salvage yard and to be honest with you, I've never seen the stock air intake system routed on the car, lol. I have a customer looking for all the pieces and my parts catalog blows dead bears when it comes to this stuff..

Its been awhile since I've had to put something back to stock so be nice ;)

This is it, except for the intake elbow that leads into the TB.

thats the callaway elbow that goes on the front of the air box... I lost mine like 2 years ago.

idiot original owner broke the mount off if it somehow.

I drove without it until I swapped to an aftermarket airbox. when it goes back to stock it'll still be missing and I have NO intention to replace it.

I was just gunna say-my MSP airbox just has a Callaway elbow on it (your diagram shows a whole bunch of additional plumbing forward of the airbox-I presume N/A model pieces)

UPDATE! i found the rub, and it seems so simple to fix to me. let me know if my idea is possible and if its smart to do.

the rub is on the passanger inner plastic crap when fully turned to the left. there is a bump in the plastic for some reason, and the rub is only on that bump. i was thinking of taking out the plastic and cutting the area out and putting it back in.

thoughts?
