What have you done to your MSP today?

Knocked out the front sway bar bushings, got all four tokicos in and got my rotors on. Now the problems lol. I have some torn boots or rubber pieces around the front pistons is this replaceable? I also have uneven pad wear on both fronts and pass. side rear. Oh and I am missing one retaining spring and shims on one side? WTF lol Will I need to buy new calipers? If so what calipers do I need again? I was looking and can't seem to find which rears fit our car and what fronts to get if I need them. I thought the rears were off a 626? any help would be great.

If you tear those boots, you gotta replace the caliper. My buddy did that on his 02 Sentra SE-R and the caliper eventually seized on him. Might be a good chance to get some new calipers and powdercoat them!

As for me, well last night the girl I was with thought it was a good idea to let her fat friends pile into the backseat of my car. Needless to say Tokico Illuminas + stock springs + 15mm spacers = RUBBBBBBBBBBBBBB. They thought my car was gonna explode - oh well, at least it was wet and I got a more aggressive fender roll out of it...

I need stiffer springs in the rear...

msp03.5, our front calipers are shared with I believe the 626, but the rears aren't shared with anything I think the diameter is the same as another setup, but the e-brake is different.

msp03.5 - I dont think u need to replace the whole caliper. All u need is the retaining springs and some shims? You can go to a local pik n pull and grab those parts off an old protege. As for uneven pads. Im not too sure. I would drain out the brake lines and refill them. btw. im liking those rotors. Baller status.

Edit: I didnt read it all. If those boots are messed up. Then yea i guess ull need to replace them.

uneven pad wear means the caliper is going/gone, Honestly, its your brakes. don't screw with it... better to overdo it than under.

Thanks guys! I ordered some calipers from a 2002 626 v6 for the fronts. Going to pick up my retaining spring that was missing on the pass. from mazda tomorrow. Just have to figure out the ss brakelines and hopefully will be able to get her back on the road.

made a SIR with some pipe i had laying around from the gtp, and also checked up on the 55W HID kit i bought for the MSP a week ago.

got it from DDM tuning, the kit i got is a 55W single bulb, 12000k temp HID.

waiting game now..

Welcome & Build Thread

Hey guys, just wanted to jump right in and say whats up. Been on the forums for the past few weeks and gathered a good amount of info from you guys & mods hehe

I made this thread through my brothers account because I was having trouble posting up pics on mine http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123775883

This past weekend I installed a few parts that I recieved in the mail. I'll be posting up new installs through out the year. The mods I currently have is just the beginning. I have HUGE plans for her and hope to get valuable info from my fellow mazda forum members.

i should have a aem uego in the mail on friday. will be selling my forcefed column pod and picking up a pillar pod from my buddy

also in the next couple days i should have a go pro hero camera in the mail. my girlfriend decided it would be good to have for eecmm. so she bought it. we will be sharing it though. only seh will be using it on her 77 6.6l trans am
