What have you done to your MSP today?

one way to find out, get an upgraded SMIC or you can make your own FMIC kit for a lot cheaper (look at wagon's sig) but anyways, depending on the way you read it, if it is just feeling sluggish, and it could feel really sluggish with stock smic, than that could be heatsoak, especially if you have the A/C on, that just kills it I noticed.. but anyways if you had to drop speed like that, it seems maybe it might be a cooling problem maybe, or something worse, but either way keep us posted and I would keep an eye on that

lol ya I will be going that route this summer, I can't wait till I build my engine/get a gt28rs to get a FMIC, I want one now lol, even though I spent about $800-1000+ on my SMIC kit after replacing the couplers/T-bolt clamps and fixing the pipe after the welder screwed it up, I will just keep the kit, but buy/make my own FMIC kit if I have the left over money after my road trip to Cali..

after looking at my brother's every morning, it makes me really want one lol, and there so cheap too to do it yourself, and that way you can customize it the way you like.. it's great

fmic is on my list of things to get. still runing the stock unit and it hasn't gotten warm enough yet to totally suck

it will lol, either that or you haven't noticed it really an assume the car is that sluggish always lol, but in the summer you should be heatsoaking it driving it around in boost after 10min or so, at least to some degree... ignorance is not bliss haha

it has been hot here yet so the slugishness is minamal right now, when it starts really getting into the 70's and up is when i really start to feel it

based on what you guys said its heatsoak, i wasnt until the speed limit dropped and i hit lights and stuff i noticed it

when you say lower tie bar is that the same as sway bar?

http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=87780 I used that how to for the front bushings. for the rear b broke one of the welded bolts, just got a new bolt and nut and the hardware store. stuck my arm in the hole in the cross-member dropped int the bolt and tightined it up with one ratchet in the cross-member and one outside on the bolt

Thanks man! Yeah sway bar is what I meant :)

your welcome. I was able to use a tiny ratchet on the passenger side front, but you can only use a box wrench on the drivers side.

and u didn't post pics... (headshake

Ill get flamed but those would look so much better with another projector or a reflector housing. In short p5 lights.
They look good though. Very clean.

I would agree, the CDM P5 housings look drop dead gorgeous with projectors.

I might not even bother with projectors when i do up my p5 lights. honestly a msp with p5 lights looks sex enough ;) but that depends entirely on how good a deal I get on a set of TSX'S ;) p5 lights in hand. just too lazy to open em up and paint them/polish lens/buy h7 bulbs.
