What have you done to your MSP today?

hmmm me likey the drop on those stechs.

I do to! However if you don't like the drop I would assume the backend will lower a tad for those with systems in their trunks and all. I don't even have the stock setup in my trunk.

Stechs are nice, i had them on my rx7 the ride wasnt all that harsh but the car had a great stance

Not as dramatic as I hoped. Yeah its firmer, but I was expecting a bit more than what I got. The combination of the lines plus the fluid seems to have made the brakes a bit more resistant to fade, and a bit more "instant" in their response, but its all very minute changes...

New pads might accentuate all this, assuming mine don't last the summer... they're getting pretty low now

Stockers... I think they are the orig struts on the car and if thats the case they have 94k on them to date or just under 94k i forget which.

Well earlier I was looking around the engine bay just inspecting s*** and I discovered that what I think is the IAC valve (connected to throttle cable?) was a little loose so I pushed it together and heard a click so maybe that will solve my throttle sticking issue! Can't wait for a test drive tomorrow. Now I gotta figure out my idle issue.

IAC valve isn't connected to the throttle cable. It's on the throttle body itself, but doesn't touch the throttle cable. Throttle cable basically snaps on the IM, straight from the firewall (& accelerator pedal) & then wraps on the little "C" piece on the throttle body. The IAC valve is on the top left of the throttle body and requires open torx bits to remove. A dirty IAC (intake air control) valve can definitely affect idle tho. I've been meaning to take mine off and clean it for a while.

I get mileage thats almost as good as my dad's yaris. the MSP's mileage is part of why I bought it. If you don't care then go for it.. those are the tradeoffs and it sounds like you're OK with em. lol

i know what you mean. i just filled up last night and did my mileage. i was getting 32.5 mpg. its amazing how much new plugs helped

can you clean that in the same way as cleaning the EGR valve?

We replaced our factory Kenwood with another factory Kenwood. (dunno) It lasted another couple years and now I hate the POS one we have in there. Such a PITA to use.

they are and I have no idea why.
I love mine. boost is rock solid every time. I'd like to know how many of the people that are sour on them have actually used one, or if they're just spewing hear-say.
