What have you done to your MSP today?

Installed my shiny ADP today. Did a degreaser, then steel-wool rub, followed by quick-shine and wax job on it and it's lookin good! w00t

I use the ones that look like a long nail with no problems the plastic ones can brake more easily. And thanks man :)

Puller it is. How about the mounting? Do zip clamps work well? BTW your wheels look pretty smexy.

Not sure which ones you mean lol.

And I finally got the front mount install finished. Started it Saturday morning....hahah oh well atleast I did it myself.

the front mount? Wtf happened while you were installing it?

Front mount intercooler incase you were thinking front motor mount lol. Quite simply I have no mechanical experience and I decided to do everything myself with a little help from my dad who knows nothing about turbos haha. Sounds like a bad idea I know, but it went pretty well except trying to make the bumper fit right.

Going to be taking the engine apart next weekend hopefully. Gonna replace the headgasket and probably get the head "decked" or something. Im guessing thats like resurfacing it. And we're going to do the timing belt and replace the idler and tension pulleys. Im not sure if we should replace the water pump. I just passed 80k miles today. Just waiting on Sam to get back to me on parts.

Thanks dude. It drives pretty well but kinda hard to feel the big improvement right now because of the various other issues that still need to be addressed. I still need to:

-Eliminate BPV and recirculate 100% from BOV
-Get a tune
-Install motor mounts and inserts
-Install ATP wastegate (should raise boost to about 7-8 psi)

I think it will be a night and day difference after that.

i finally got around to blacking out my headlight, tinting my corner, side marker, and tail lights. I don't know if im going to use the tinted corners in my headlights though

Haha, ya sorry. I was in "study for acct" mode, and saw front mount and just thought, wtf front motor mount should take 30 min, lol. (braindead

Always take breaks from studying and check through threads. Need to stop posting while I'm studying, my posts always end up being less than intelligent...

if you're doing all that a water pump is a "might as well"

Yup, might as well. Hopefully all this solves the issues im having. Also, getting it ready for the track sometime in May.
