What have you done to your MS3 today?

Well.. it wasn't today.. but Friday evening. Took out my H&R front struts, completely disassembled and reassembled... no more clunking. Horray!

I'd hope so... because if I took everything the **** apart and re-assembled and it was still there I'd light the car on fire.

Hot dayum, gen2 wheels on gen1 is win! Are those those JDM rain guards? They look decent. Easy install? link? one more question?

Pushed mine under a tree to maybe protect from the hail storm. No damage.

I have no idea how the install was since everything came with the car lol. I'm just so excited to have the car.

I was just about to say.. it looks like spdjnke's car.

Congratulations.

Thank you very much!

Right but the PO is posting in this thread and I'd assume he put those on...

Also, the first time I've ever pulled my car into out garage. It's a VERY tight fit down a VERY narrow space between my house and my neighbors house. Gonna ba a b**** to get out. I'm going to have to pull into the grass and turn around and take it frontways. It's safe from the massive hailstorm coming our way though...and for that we thank you!

Haha... I was close to doing that!!!

Gosh darned. I killed this thread..

:cricket chirp:

I love the shot! Anymore specs on the Jeep (I think it is a Jeep.. my screen is dark and all I can see is the grill)?

Also.. has anyone installed a Mazda OEM iPod Integration kit in their 08.5+ MS3? I have an installation question. >_<

Oh geeze, really? I figured out installation on everything but one part. There is this one cord coming from the wire bundle that has two wires (black and red) that are stripped and need to be tapped in somewhere. I don't know where they need to be tapped in.. and I really don't want to go tapping into a bunch of wires for s&g.

Haha...I actually meant to ask you about that jeep the other day when I was in new orleans but I realized I was too drunk to make sense. I'm working (relatively speaking) on a 63 cj myself

And on an ms3 note I came back from my 5 day trip to a car that started up with no problems. I'm always worried that if I don't start my car for any period of time longer than a day or two that it won't start easy

I probably only think that because after sitting for so long all the oil congregates towards the bottom, and away from important parts.

Haha, everyone asks about my dad's jeep. It's a 1961 or 62 Jeep FC170 (not sure, going by VIN only,) forward control cab-over pickup. Never heard of it? No one has. They were farm vehicles so hardly any survived. He's been working on it from the ground up for a few years now. New motor overhauled, hardened valves so it can run unleaded. Repaint, OEM color, everything. It's a struggle trying to build up a rare vehicle, but it's gonna be worth it in the end.

Build thread with pics on this forum (which I need to update!)

Does anybody have any insight? :)

IIRC those took the place of the aux imput in the center console. dealer told me that would be useless if i put in the ipod kit, im guessing they removed the headphone connection wires and replaced them with outs from the kit....dont quote me tho....

I didnt do anything with my speed, but am currently organizing an epic dyno day in LI....any locals that want to come PM me as the thread is on the big bad forum :D

That's fantastic! probably the most unique jeep build I've seen. looks like you just have some finishing touches to make?

We put the doors on a few weekends back. The bed is on, the windows are in. Weatherstripping goes in soon. I'm tasked with polishing up that paint. Then we gotta get that engine started. Hasn't been run in over a year. :/
So yeah, just finishing touches.

90% done, 90% left to go :) cool project.

Had a nice drive to work this morning, rockin' my new ITV22's. Have to get my racepipe back on... worried it'll smoke once I do, though. :(
