What have you done to your MS3 today?

took it to the track(thunderhill) today. can't get enough of flogging the MS3 through all 15 turns! got a chance to really break in the hawk HP plus pads and nitto NT05. pads have excellent grip and consistency, definitely a big step up from OEM pads as far as the track is concerned. they are quiet when cold or hot but noisy as hell when warm... i can live with it for now. the NT05s got better the more miles i put on them, could still use more of a break in. felt like i was getting a little tread squirm entering corners but once i was set on the line they gripped well. also took me a while to get the PSI dialed in. they started to get a little greasy by the end of each session but it was also in the 90s all day. speaking of which, it's the first time i've run the MS3 hard in those temps and was getting pretty bad heat soak by the end of each session. made me think about a front mount...

this is me being jealous.

Tire rotate 6/6 18K on these Yokohamas now.
Oil/filter change today @23K (yeah, I'm really pilin' on the miles - 22,700 in 37 1/2 months)

Wife opened the rear driver side door of her suv and smacked my car. Put a quarter size dent in the rear passenger side door of my car, first dent on the car. It was an accident, but I'm still pissed it happened.

^^that sucks, my bro is a PDR Tech, if your ever near Albany^^^^

on a side note im all big smiles today.... ran against my bro's 2011 WRX 3rd gear for him 4th for me at about 70mph and i pulled on him.... finally... lovin the performance mods.

Drove "scenic" Rt 125 in VT twice over the weekend. So good, highly recommended cruise/driving road.

Installed and dorve a bit to day with the new Cobb Pressure-Based Boost Tuning (BT) logic maps from the 2010-2011 MS3's sung there beat firmware. Very nice stable STFT, lower LTFT. seems to pull harder and spool up quicker. I dont however like the higher idle ( 950- 975).

I just realized what you wrote... lol Buffalo is no where NEAR Albany. I guess that makes sense if you're from NYC. Anything beyond NYC is upstate.

Got a bunch of work done:

Seafoam
Plugs
Oil
Trans fluid
Cabin Filter

Plus my new license plate arrived:

Changed the trans fluid. OEM to Royal purple. Feels smoother already but won't feel the full effects till later this week. Overall- happy!
