first thing i did when i bought my MS3 was sell the stock wheels...

i used mine for winters, no reason to buy a 3rd set of rims....plus i can go 100% stock if the boom fairy comes, cuz...well u know, aftermarket wheels can affect performance and blow motors according to mazda

changed the oil...switching from Mobil 1 and trying out Castrol Edge 5W-30... It was on sale for $5.99 at Advance

God I love my parents. As a Christmas presents they took my beat to hell MSP Racing Harts and sent them off to have all the curb rash from the previous owner fixed and the finish sandblasted and powdercoated white. <3 <3 <3

We got them back today and I mounted them on my car. Better pictures tomorrow since it is dark now. I also need to find new screws to put my centercaps back on.

Yeah, I love the stock centercaps. I'll be putting them back on tomorrow when I get some new screws.

Yeah, they look freakin' amazing.

The previous owner had curbed the ever living s*** out of them. I'm pretty sure there was not a square inch on those wheels without some sort of damage. They pretty much look brand new right now. I had spray painted them white last year to try and cover up some of the blemishes.. and earlier in the year I had taken them outside to clean them up, sand and re-spray them and forgot about them for a few months.. so the paint oxidized. Hahah.

Here is a before just for reference...

wow, the difference is amazing. what does it cost to do something like that? i'm all about some rx-8 wheels and i've seen some sweet deals on some rashed up wheels, but have passed them up because i had no idea what it would take to bring them back.

man, they really do look brand new. you do have some rad 'rents.

put a parking permit on the speed....can anyone guess where it is?

and on a side-note, i also took the truck tonight to get some wood. well, i had to leave the tailgate down during transportation (crew cab with short bed), but of course when i put it in the mazda there ended up being room to spare. goddamn i love this car

began seriously debating in my head whether to get a cxfmic or spend the extra coin and get a cobb v2 fmic
