Mine were Extreme Conti... whatevers. We got 2-3 feets of snow. I didn't drive it for 3 days because it was just utter dog s***. I had to un-bury mine and then this Saturday when it was nice put on my FD's with the snows. It sucks because you're not really sure how the car is going to react and you wind up driving like a grandma.

Yeah.. I hear you. I just bought some Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3Ds. Waiting for my MSP RHs to get back from the repair guy to mount them. I'm hoping I can get that done before this weekend. We're supposedly in for a doozy of a storm Sunday/Monday.

We got a lot last winter, its on and off. But even the smallest amount of snow i am scared to drive on the stock summers. They are horrible in the snow.

stock summers are much better than my tires in the snow......believe me, my driveway has something like a .00000001% grade and i couldnt get out

I don't understand how, I tried telling my friend how bad they were and he didn't believe me until he drove with me when snow was on the ground, he was like you need snow tires bad, i was like i told you. I can't even go 5mph when the roads are covered with the smallest amount of snow because I get no traction and my back slides out all the time.

put it on a dyno out of curiosity. with just SRI, TIP, and RMM my best run was 230hp/242tq. sounds about right...

i have even less tread grooves to bite into snow than the oem's, and mine are wider which doesnt help

there was a fan but it was a piece of crap and barely tall enough for the TMIC. i thought about bringing a bag of ice but forgot to grab one on the way to the dyno. the first run is always the best then it takes a s*** after it heat soaks. interestingly the TQ doesn't go down as much as the HP. lost 24hp between first and last run but only 10tq.

I guess it'd kinda make sense if you're pulling timing and adding fuel. More fuel = more tq.

Must've waited too long to put the de-icer washer fluid in, pump for the back is running but nothing coming out. Probably frozen

So funny, I rarely use the back one but now I feel I have to winterize that line so it doesn't rupture, just like I do to our camper
