Edit:

Also I just bought the Mazdaspeed3 Wiring Diagram. Got sick of looking for a torrent of it. 20 bucks - ebay.

Ran in a local autoX put on my the Clemson Sports Car Club over the weekend. Good chance to get some practice and see how the new BC coilovers would behave in the dry (w/ BFG R1's). Between the additional camber, stiffer suspension and lower CG the car is totally different handling-wise. You can actually get it to break loose a little bit, but when it does the car is very progressive and easy to reign in. The car is so much faster that I even topped a Porsche 911 by two-tenths at the event.

painting my calipers Ford ST orange this weekend as well as picking up some rx8 18"s and preparing to get dirty with some gunmetal paint =D

Went to pick up my car at Mazda today and ran into some major prolems. Mazda was supposed to check the rain sensor while they had the car as they claimed it was my tire rack banner causing the issue. Problem is they had replaced the winsheild 2 years ago and I knew they had messed something up when they did it so they place a new sensor on it and it still didn't work. Then Mazda realizes the glass they put in was not OEM replacement glass
but aftermarket glass meant to work with a rain sensor which it did not. We figured I'd get the OEM part since it was Mazda doing it but no they cheaped out on us. So now I'm out 590 bucks on a windshield that doesn't work and they want 900 more dollars to get the OEM part! I would've paid that the first time but not now! I want a free windhield dammit! I made sure to yell (actually did) at the shop manager forbeing an idiot. Thanks local dealer.....

Also the guy that put the motor back together after the new injectors (three of them) messed up because after getting it home I was leaving to go out and the car died twice on start up and bucks like crazy under more than 10% throttle. WTF!!!!!! That Evo X sitting on the Mazda lot is looking better and better each day.

geez man your local dealership is like the poster child for terrible mechanical and customer service! if they cant get a windshield right they would never be allowed to see my engine! hell i wouldnt let them rotate my tires! the only conclusion i can arrive at is they are playing dumb so that you get so fed up and buy that evo that is strategically placed so that you walk past it every time...or these are your mechanics...

either way its not looking too promising lol. i hope your issues are resolved without any more issue though for real. good luck!

Sorry to hear about the mess! I just got my car back from the dealer that set my timing for me. All is good with the exception of the P0016 code!!! FAIL! Thankfully I haven't had to pay for the service yet...

Hebrew, it's time to cut your losses and kick the speed to the curb. You have a damn bad omen over that car. If its not one thing, then its another. That's when you know you don't have the right car for you. Evo X would be a sure thing if it was me.

Dude...safelite quoted me $300 for a replacement windsheild (GT w/ rain sensing wipers)...

An OEM windshield replacement with rain-sensors and headlight sensors cost over $1100.

I had to take an aftermarket replacement from Pilkington for $700+. Insurance wouldn't cover OEM replacement.

The aftermarket glass was supposed to work with the sensors.... So much for that.

how is it your fault if mazda wanted to be a bunch of cheap *****? if the glass they spec'd doesnt work, then they should eat the cost of the correct windshield

That's what I said! Even though the new piece would be more expensive than I paid. The guy was like we already looked the other way about warranty stuff but I told him to shove it because that is an unrelated issue. I'm also not the customer they want angry at them. My mom teaches a racing school and recommends their many different dealers to people looking for cars/parts and she will happily start talking bad about their business which would kill their viper, gt-r/370z, and Porsche sales. The service manager had no idea about that. Fortunately the owner of these dealers lives around the corner from me. I may make a stop at his house sometime soon. He's not scamming money out of me so his carrera gt can sit in his garage and never get driven.

ordered 1 tpms since ppl here are gay and dont want to split them lol

also ordered metal center caps to be PC to match my wheels

Installed a Flux Capacitor and a Mr. Fusion over the weekend. Don't need the tires now that the car will hover.

wash, quick spray wax, and installed new rain-x latitude wiper blades. and then i got a random CEL for missfire on cylinder 4. so i cleared it and drove for a while and it didnt come back so ill have to monitor that.
