What have you done to your MS3 today?

Took mine out of the garage and drove it to work to get the battery charged up. My brand new optima was dead after sitting in the car for a week (not driving it). This is not a good sign. I disconnected my audio equipment before I parked it too. I wonder what is drawing current while the car is parked.

With this warm spell we are having (temperature currently sitting at the freezing mark), the car feels great! There was even some snow-free (albeit wet) pavement to play on.

Flat blacked out the front emblem and wing, plus blacked out the rear wing stop light. Measured the LEDs and punched holes evenly on the vinyl so that they were on top of each LED and as you can see the light shows through like nothing is there...And got my winter tires mounted to my stock rims from a regular m3

I would like to know as well. Other than being catless I see no problem with it. Even then, I bought my catless dp off ebay for $270, now before you scream about quality problems with no name mfgs, I have had ZERO problems with mine and does exactly what I want it to do, flow the exhaust better, cooler(no cat), with less back pressure than the stock dp. The stainless also adds a nice blue tint after the first few drives. Yes you show a cel after a few hundred miles, but what that cel code is that the o2 sensor is reading a cooler exhaust temp than it should if the cat is working properly, basically that the catalytic converter failed to warm up, obviously cause there isn't one.... Now that might be a problem in some areas because of emission laws, but even then when time comes to be tested just throw your stock dp on. But the cel doesn't put the car in limp mode or cause a drop in performance, it is just informative...

I was thinking it looks good, and was one of the first steps before I get it the whole car wrapped in flat black, if you don't like it don't do it to your car.

But the DC logo? Look everyone I wear DC shoes! And I prefer the stripes where everyone else has placed them. You've just added too much black to the red in my opinion.

im sorry, but...What were you thinking?

Agreed

Different strokes for different folks... I don't like DC stickers either for the record. And I don't like the door handles or side skirts wrapped... but I love the eyelids and stripes off the headlights.

See I'm the kinda guy who likes the black thrown all over like on the Enzo below. I might be having the entire car wrapped in flat black this weekend. If my vinyl sheets get here, People around here know it as the vinyl speed, and thats why I like it. It isn't permanent and doesnt leave marks if you do it right. I'm always changing things up with it. I wanted a black speed3 in the first place, I'm hoping an all flat black one will be even better.... and Saskatchewan17 its good to see someone else do the eyelid coming from the rear tail light, I think thats one of my favorite applications I've done.

Oh and btw, about that DC sticker, it's actually covering up a nasty scar on my bumper from being hit by a riced out 90' civic hatch last winter. You can see the scratches from his fiberglass bumper left around that area when it exploded in the cold impact haha

sorry man, I dont mean to come off as rude and attacking. In my opinion, it doesn't look good, but its not my car, so i'm glad that you defend your opinion. If you like it, well hey, its your car and good for you for trying out something different. I respect that.

A downpipe is kind of a PITA to "throw on" to get an emissions test done...

It is only once a year thing, actaully where I'm at I only have to do it ever 2 years for the first 6 years of the vehicles life. But I don't mind getting under the hood and wrenching it on the mazda I actually enjoy it, other people who find it a PITA are probably better off buying a DP with a high flow cat and I can understand that, it is time consuming. But I prefer going catless, love hearing the turbo whine and all the benefits from being catless....
